What is the best location for sub. Is a corner best?

Hello, and thanks for your question. The best place to put your SUB really depends on the room's environment. We would recommend giving it an inch or two of space to allow for better airflow, but ultimately our SUB is designed to be put where you'd rather put it.

Can I hook this up to my receiver? I don't intend to use it for watching movies, but rather to add bass to my music system. I have a record player hooked up to a receiver and the receiver is hooked up to a sonos connect already.

Hi, great question! The Sonos AMP has and HDMI port that can plug into your TV. It will power two speakers of your chose in a stereo set up, imaging the center channel for clear dialog. The Sonos Fives can then be set up with the AMP as surround sound speakers. In this set up you would have a 4.0 Home Theater system. You could add a SUB for 4.1 Home Theater sound.

Hi, and thank you for your question! Sonos does not have an in-wall rated power cable. However Best Buy does sell an in wall kit that will plug into your wall outlet, plug Playbar into that, and that has cables that can be ran up the inside of the wall.

Should I buy stands for the 1’s i I’m putting in the rear for the surround?

Hi, and thanks for your question! Stands do add a convenient place to support your rear speakers without taking up any table or shelf space. They hide the power cables running to the ground and look nice as well. However, it isn't necessary and is entirely personal preference as it wouldn't effect sound quality at all.
