Can I pair Beam with a Sonos five?
Hi, thank you for your question. A Sonos Beam can be grouped with a Sonos Five for simultaneous music playback, or to send your TV audio to another room. If you had two Sonos Five speakers, you could pair them with the Sonos Beam to create a surround sound experience.

Hi, thank you for your question. The Sonos Port is the newest version of the Sonos Connect technology. With both products you could connect your Sont CD jukbox to it to steam that CD play audio to other zones of Sonos. All Sonos products can play streaming music controlled by the Sonos app and most can stream using Airplay 2.

Hi, thanks for your question. The Sonos Move is a single speaker. The Sonos Move is a speaker for a single area or you can group it with other Sonos products to play music in multiple areas. In that sense it can be connected to a Sonos One.

Can Alexa be turned off?
Hi, thanks for your question. Though the Sonos Beam has voice, and has microphone hardware, it is only used if you choose to enable a voice service. If you choose to enable a voice service like Alexa or Google Assistant, and do so through the Sonos app, you can tap the microphone button to turn the mic off. When that light is on, the microphone is on. When that light is off, the microphone is disabled.

I have wired in ceiling speakers and a subwoofer driven by a receiver - 5.1 system. Can I add this amp and a Sonos ARC to replace the receiver? We rent the property and are looking to simplify the use for renters. Can the subwoofer be driven by the ARC

The Sonos Arc would replace the front three in-ceiling speakers while the Sonos Amp can be connected to your existing in-ceiling rear speakers. With this set up the Subwoofer port on the Sonos Amp is non-functional as it is set up for rear-channel use. In order to have a subwoofer connected you would need to purchase a Sonos Sub to wirelessly connect to the Sonos Arc.
There is a second solution you can go with that would utilize most of your existing products. You can purchase two Sonos Amps. First you would wire one Sonos Amp to your existing front "Left" and "Right" in-ceiling speakers, and the second Sonos Amp would wire to your existing rear channel in-ceiling speakers. The Sonos Amp powering the front channels would also connect to your TV using HDMI ARC. This Amp would act as your front speakers while simulating center channel sound. Because this Amp is being used for your TV connection the subwoofer port is active and can accommodate your existing subwoofer.

Internally, electricians have installed horizontal recessed outlets or an in-wall power adapter. Please consult local fire-code guidelines when running or connecting power cables through a wall.

I currently have a sonos system with several speakers throughout the house. I want a bar for my tv but am concerned that there will be a hassle between the tv and sound bar and the other speakers. Can the bar be exclusive to the tv?
Hi, thank you for your question. When connecting a Sonos Beam to your TV, you set it up within the Sonos app. This allows the product to be a part of your overall system. Even though it is part of the system the Sonos Beam can work independently with your TV. This allows the Beam to produce TV audio without worrying about being linked to other speakers if you do not wish to.

Does it come with a digital optical cable & how many watts does it have...???
Hi, thank you for your question. The Sonos Beam comes with an HDMI cable to be used with the HDMI ARC port on a television. If the TV does not have a HDMI ARC port or you choose not to use it, the Sonos Beam comes with an HDMI to Optical adapter which allows you to connect into the Optical port on a television. Sonos does not specify wattage on any of its power speakers. This speaker is designed for smaller to mid-sized rooms.

Thank you for your question. The Sonos Beam's wall mount will not support the Sonos Arc. There is however, I mount designed for the Sonos Arc.
