Great question! Any iPhone that is connected to your WiFi network and has your Sonos account credentials can control every speaker in a Sonos system. Additionally, if one phone starts music or changes volume the other phone will reflect that change in real time so you always know what is happening on your Sonos speakers!

I already have a Sonos one in the Florida Room connecting several sonos thru the house. I would like to buy a second Sonos one to be connected only to my bedroom TV to project a better sound. Can this be possible or what would you suggest. Thanks.

In order to get a Sonos One to play television sound there has to be a Sonos home theater product (Beam, Playbar, Playbase, or Amp) connected to the television. You could then group the Sonos One to that player to synchronize the sound. If you do not have a Sonos home theater product attached to that television the Beam makes a perfect bedroom television sound bar. It has a small form factor, great sound quality, and speech enhancement and night mode build in.

Is there a Bluetooth option?

Great question! The Beam does not support Bluetooth. However, you can use almost any music streaming app through the Sonos app over WiFi. Additionally, the Beam supports Airplay 2 to play whatever is playing on your iOS device.

I know the with the one’s you need two paired up to get stereo sound. is this play 5 mono sound or does it get stereo sound with just the one?

Great question! The Play:5 is capable of playing great stereo sound out of one speaker.

Great question! The Playbar does not work with bluetooth but does work with streaming services over WiFi utilizing the Sonos app. This allows you to use your current streaming service to listen to music and not be interrupted by notifications or be restricted to bluetooth range to listen to music.

Does this come with two Sonos one SL or just one? The photo says ‘x2’ on the Sonos one SL but the text states beam soundbar plus two more items (meaning the sub and one SL)....please clarify.

The Sonos Beam does not include any other speakers in the box. However, the package that is a full Sonos 5.1 home theater experience includes the Beam, 2 Sonos One SLs, and a Sub.

Can I stream music from Playbar? Like Pandora?

Yes! The Playbar is designed for great television sound when the television is in use and incredible sound for music when the television is off! You would simply add Pandora as a service in the Sonos app and use the Sonos App to control your Pandora experience. This allows for uninterrupted music with no range restrictions from your phone as it uses the WiFi in your home instead of bluetooth.

can i connect to record player?

The Sonos One will not directly connect to a record player. You would need a Sonos Amp and some passive speakers or a Play:5 to connect to a record player directly. If you have one of those devices connected to the record player the Sonos One can group with that player to play your records across multiple rooms of your home.

Is it compatible to Samsung tv Dolby sound

The Sonos One (Gen 2) can be used in a Dolby Digital 5.0 set up with a Playbar, Playbase, or Beam as the front channels and two Sonos Ones as rear channels. If you have a Sonos One in another room from where you have a home theater product connected to the television the Sonos One could play the sound from the television in sync with the home theater product.
