If buying 2 speakers, do they provide true stereo sound or just "sound separation"?
Great question! If you stereo pair two Sonos One (Gen 2) speakers in the application they reproduce true stereo sound. The left channel will come from one speaker and the right from the other! Even with a stereo pair you are able to utilize our Trueplay tuning technology in the app to tune the pair to your room!

Can this speaker be use in damp locations such as a lanai?
The One SL is a sealed speaker and is humidity resistant so it can be used in humid locations like bathrooms. It is not designed to withstand direct contact with water, such as rain.

I moved into a house that has built in ceiling speakers both in the house (family room, dining room and master bath) and outdoor patio. I also have a stand alone Sonos unit in the kitchen. can I connect the Sonos unit to the speakers? If so, how? Thx
To connect your existing speakers to your Sonos unit in the kitchen you would need to wire a Sonos Amp to each pair of speakers. The speakers should have standard speaker wire running from them to another area. Simply plug in the Sonos Amp to an electrical outlet, use the included binding posts to plug the speaker wire into the Amp, and then set up the Sonos Amp in your Sonos app and you will have created zones for whichever speakers you connect to the Amps!

All I want to do is be able to use my old 80's stereo components (turntable, amplifier, etc) and be able to use Sonos speakers. I'm not super high-tech and just want a simple stereo system. Should I get the Connect or Port?
Both the Sonos Port and Connect will allow you to connect your stereo components to other Sonos speakers. The Port has new features, such as Airplay 2, but both will accomplish what you are looking to do!

Great question! The Sonos Move supports Airplay 2 which should allow the Apple TV to send the audio of whatever content it is playing to the Sonos Move as long as both are on the same WiFi network! That sounds like a great move night!

How long is the included power cord?
The included power cord is 6.5 feet long. You can find 1.6 feet and 11.5 feet long power cords on bestbuy.com if you need to purchase a longer or a short cord!

Great question! These speakers are designed to be used with the Sonos Amp and while wired in parallel 3 pairs can be connected to the Amp!

We have a Samsung soundbar. Is Sonos One compatible?
Unfortunately the Sonos One will only work as a satellite speaker or group wirelessly with Sonos Home Theater products.

Does this have Alexa built in??? It will sit next to my current alexa and I don't want them to interfere with each other.
The Sonos One SL does not have a microphone to receive and execute Alexa commands but you will be able to control it with your current Alexa device. This means you can control the speaker with your current Alexa device and there will not be any interference between the two.
