Can you pair these speakers for rear sound in the ceiling? I would like to use these with a sonos soundbar and sub set up. So essentially the sound bar would act as the L, R and center channel and the ceilings would be rear L and R. Thanks in advance!
Hi Zach, that is absolutely right but you would need to use a Sonos Amp to power these speakers for that configuration to work. The Sonos Amp would be connected as surround channels in the Sonos app.

Thanks for your question. If you have all those products as a surround sound set up, you would not need an Amp for that configuration. You could use the Amp to power a separate zone on your Sonos system.

Hey how can I connect my sonos to my TV
Hi Anne, the Sonos One does not connect directly to a TV. For TV sound you would need a Sonos Ray, Beam, or Arc speaker. These products connect to the TV directly with either an optical or ARC connection.

Hi Paul, a Sonos Arc would replace a Playbar on a TV. They would be not able to be used simultaneously on the same TV.

Will Sonos amp with with 4 sonace ceiling speakers and a Bose sound bar?
A Sonos Amp will not connect to a Bose soundbar.

Thank you for your question. The Sonos One SL does not connect to a TV for TV sound. You will need a Sonos Home Theater speaker (Ray, Beam Gen 2, Arc).

I currently have a beam gen 2 and want to add a speaker on the other side of the rooom. Is this the speaker to buy? Will it connect to the beam soundbar when I plug it in?
Hey Chris, if you added a single Sonos One to your system it would be seen as a separate zone of which could be grouped with your Beam Gen 2. If you added two Sonos One speakers you could set them both up as rear channels to your Beam Gen 2 for surround sound, if that is what you would like.

I watch mostly TV through a streaming service, along with a few movies from Netflix or bluray/dvd. My biggest problem with my current system is muddled dialog. With a $900 budget is Beam 2 with mini sub base, or the Arc with no base a better choice?

Thanks for your question. We do not share how many watts our speakers are. With that being said, the Sonos Roam is very loud for its size. For even louder sound, the Sonos Move would be best.
