I purchased 2x Sonos SL One Gen2 speakers, didnt realize that you also need a Sonos soundbar to sync with my Samsung TV. I read that the Beam will work via "e ARC" but see the Ray only connects via Fiberoptic. Is there a difference or preference?

Thanks for your question! A Sonos soundbar is needed for a TV connection, and the Beam or Ray are both great options. The sound difference between the two are sound quality and volume. The Beam will be great for medium to large rooms where the Ray is great for smaller listening environments. It all depends on your budget and what size of experience you are looking to have.

Connection Help for Outdoor Covered Patio: I bought the Beam(Gen 2) to mount underneath a TV, along with the Sonos Amp and Ceiling Speakers. The Amp will be inside. Will Beam connect/sync with the Amp through the app or do I need to somehow connect it?

Thank you for your question. The Beam will speak wirelessly to the Amp when used as rears through a WiFi signal that the Beam will produce. This signal does not work at long distances. If the Beam and the Amp are within 10-15 feet of eachother it should work wirelessly. If not, both the Beam and the Amp will need to be hardwired using ethernet cables back to the network.
If setting it up wirelessly can work, the bonding of theses players together as a home theater system is done in the Sonos app.

Thank you for your question. Sonos Port does not connect to any subwoofer as it is a streaming device.

Can I connect indoor and outdoor speakers to the same AMP and then use the app to choose which speakers are "on" and playing the sound?

Thank you for your question. A single Sonos Amp only controls one stream and volume level, no matter if you connect a single or multiple pairs to it. In order to have independent control you would have to use a separate Amp for each zone.

bluetooth capacity?

Sonos One does not have Bluetooth connectivity, only WiFi and Airplay 2. For a product with both Wifi, Airplay 2, and Bluetooth please explore Sonos Move or Sonos Roam.

Thank you for your question. Sonos products require specific configurations to be done on enterprise wifi systems to function. Certain permissions would need to be enabled from a network admin to Sonos products to connect.
