Thanks for your question. Yes, our speakers give you the ability to stream the same thing for up to 32 speakers on one wifi network. Or, different things in different places if you'd like. Our app is very intuitive and guides you through the set up process of your products.

When you place one in each room does each speaker get both left and right channels?

When on speaker is in the room, the One is mono. You can put two in the room, and set them up as a stereo pair so that each one is a channel if you'd like!

Can I use my Sonos Beam as my rear surround speaker with my Arc?

You cannot. We would recommend x2 Sonos One SL's as surrounds for your Arc!

They can be grouped together to play the same thing at the same time. They cannot be stereo paired together for left and right audio, though.

Thanks for your question. The Sonos Ray plug into the tv you're watching via optical cable. So there's two cables. A power cable, and an optical cable.
