I just bought a Sonos Arc sound bar to hook up to my Sony TV. I have it plugged into the HDMI Arc port. Will this Sonos sub woofer pair up with my sound bar or do I need a separate Bluetooth transmitter plugged into the 3.5 mm plug in?

Hello! Thank you for your question. The Sonos Sub will wirelessly bond with the Sonos Arc. No need for any kind of bluetooth transmitter.

My Sonos System list S2 as the operating system (OS). Can I add a Roam speaker to my system and have it be controlled by my Play 5 controller?

Hi and thanks for your question! We aren't sure what you mean by Play5 controller as Play5 does not have it's own controller? If you're referring to the controllers we sold over a decade ago unfortunately those only work on our S1 platform. You can use the same app to control Play5, and Roam if it's S2.

The sonos have a remote control ?

Thank you for your question! We do not. Our products learn the IR remote your tv came with. If your remote happens to be bluetooth, simply turn off the Bluetooth on the tv and it will default to IR.

I have the wiring for 6 ceiling speakers in 3 rooms (2 per each room). do I need to have 3 Amp. (1 per each pair) or 1 Amp. should be enough to control the 6 speakers?

Hi and thanks for your question. Normally we recommend 1 Amp per pair, however, one benefit of these specific Sonos by Sonance speakers is that you can run up to 3 pairs on one amp.

I have a hearing disability (I wear hearing aids). Which would be better for me the Sonos-Beam 2 or the Sonos - Ray Soundbar with Wi-Fi - Black? I have a stereo surround sound system and a center channel, my Sony Bravia I purchased 11 months ago.

The Ray is perfect if you're looking for a compact soundbar that may need to fit in a tight space or maybe just want to hear tv audio a little bit better. Beam has more speakers and support Dolby Atmos, so it will be able to get a little louder and the sound will sound more detailed.

Thanks for your question! Yes, you can group Move, and Ray to play the same thing at the same time. However, you can't pair the Move's as rears.

Yes, as long as Five is connected to your wifi you'll have no problems playing the music you love via Airplay 2. Sonos Five is sold as a single unit. You would need to buy 2 of them to be a pair. So yes, you can just buy one of them and enjoy your tunes.

What is the difference between the soundbar and beam? Is there any benefit in owning both? We have a beam and 2 sonos speakers. Would we benefit from a package deal of 2 speakers and a bar, or would it be the same setup we already have?

The Sonos Beam Gen 2 now support Dolby Atmos. So, compared to your Sonos Beam Gen1, Gen 2 will sound fuller and more detailed.
