No it is not designed for Gen1.

After the initial set up on wifi. Roam act like any other bluetooth speaker in bt mode. If the audio technical turntable has an interface to connect a bluetooth speaker, then we don't see why it wouldn't work.

Great question. It can group with Roam to play the music at the same time. It cannot pair together is a stereo pair.

Is this a 2.0 or 3.0 channel bar? Specifically does it have a dedicated center channel for dialogue?
It does have a dedicated array for dialogue and supports our dialogue enhancement feature which turns up that center array for louder dialogue without turning up the rest of the sounds.

I bought a Beam but have a 55" TV. Will it work well (the Arc is noted for larger TVs)?
It will work great for a 55" tv. It really just depends on what type of experience you're looking for. The Beam will give you great sound, out of a smaller physical soundbar. You can even add Sub and surrounds to it as well just like with Arc. Arc will be the soundbar you want if you're looking for an epic home theater experience from your soundbar.

How does it connects with tv, if there is no cables?
Thank you for your questions. Wireless means that the speaker work over wifi for music, podcast, audiobooks, ext. It connects to the tv via HDMI eARC or ARC, or via optical with the included dongle.
