(REVISED) I want to use my receiver's HDMI (monitor) output as the sound source for the Beam. I cannot use the receiver's HDMI ARC connection - that goes to my TV. Will this work and does the BEAM have an HDMI input?

Port also allows you to go the other way. there's analog input and output. So, for this you would plug receiver analog into the input of Port and group the Beam.

I want the sound source for the Beam (Gen 2) and other Sonos speakers to be my receiver (which has Dolby Atmos & 9.2 channel capability). According to the specs, there is no HDMI input on the Beam. How do I connect my receiver's HDMI output to it?

Hi, and thank you for your question. Beam is designed to be our sound system for your tv. If you'd like to play the same thing through your receiver, you can with the Sonos Port. It will allow you to group them together wirelessly to play the same thing at the same time.

I was told that if I set up the BEAM2US1 along with two FIVE1US1's, two ONEG2US1's and one SUBG3US1, only the BEAM and SUB have to be plugged in to a power source. Is this correct?

Can fire stick remote be programmed to control Beam gen 2

The Beam G2 can be programmed with any IR remote. The Fire stick would work via CEC through your tv which would control Beam.

There are select mounts that allow the Beam to be mounted directly under the tv. One is a Sinus model BSSBM1-B1 SKU 6361807

For the initial setup of the Sonos 5 speakers do they need to be charged up , or do they plug into electrical circuit?

Great question. All of our products need to be plugged into an outlet for power except our portable speakers (Move, and Roam)
