Enhance your home audio with this Class D Sonos amplifier. Its 125W of power per channel lets you enjoy high-resolution sound from your bookshelf speakers, TV and other passive components, and Wi-Fi connectivity supports multiroom setups and wireless streaming via AirPlay and the Sonos app.

Can I use this amp for surround sound for my TV? We will have a pair of built in Sonos speakers in the ceiling and a pair in the wall on either side of the tv. If so how many more individual Sonos speakers will I be able to “hook” up to this amp?

Hi, and thank you for your question. Yes you can! If you would like surround sound to both pairs of speakers then you'll need an Amp for each pair. They can be set up in the app to work as surround sound. If by "hook" you mean group together to be a part of your overall home sound system throughout the entire house, you can have up to 32 Sonos products on 1 wifi network.

Sonos - One (Gen 2) Smart Speaker with Voice Control built-in - Black
Sonos - One (Gen 2) Smart Speaker with Voice Control built-in - Black
Enhance your media experience with this Sonos One (Gen 2) smart speaker in black. Powered by a four-core processor, this speaker can connect to Wi-Fi and stream your favorite podcasts, radio stations and music with high-quality sound. This Sonos One (Gen 2) smart speaker includes Alexa and Google Assistant, so you can use it completely hands-free.

What would you suggest for a Sonos solution to surround sound in one room, and then whole house surround (4-5 more speakers) elsewhere?

Hi, and thank you for your question! The beauty of our products is that you can build it however you want. Things to consider when choosing Home Theater:
- Epic Home theater experience? Arc
- Great sound in a small design? Beam
- Do I want to take listening to the next level? Yes? Add Sub.
- Sonos One SL's should be just fine for surrounds.

As far as speaker in the other rooms:
- Ultimate speaker for music performance? Sonos 5
- Something that sounds great but doesn't take up too much space? Sonos One/One SL
- I want to hear the nuances with my sound and great bass? Sonos 5
- Looking for a speaker for background music that I'll be impressed with? Sonos One/One SL

We hope this helps. We would encourage you to head into your local Best Buy to consult with one of their employees as they can ask many follow up questions that will help you decide.

Effortlessly enrich your entertainment experience with the latest generation of Beam, now with Dolby Atmos. Enjoy panoramic sound for shows, movies and games when the TV is on, and stream music radio and more when it's off.

My smart TV is optical audio output only. So does that render the Dolby useless?

Thank you for your question. Sort of. Optical still support Dolby 5.1 - However, if you're referring to Dolby Atmos, yes. Dolby Atmos can only be passed through Tvs with eARC and compressed versions can be passed via standard ARC.

Bring all your entertainment to life with the extraordinarily realistic sound of this Sonos Arc - the premium smart soundbar for TV, movies, gaming, and more.

Hi, I have a Samsung QN85 model that has eARC HDMI input. Few online forums mentioned there is a compatibility issue with Sonos and Samsung eARC. Can you please let me know if this issue is resolved? If so, I am very much looking forward to buy Sonos.

Hi, and thank you very much for your question. As far as we are concerned the issues has been resolved. Both us and Samsung have launched firmware updates addressing this.

Unfortunately no. Only our soundbars and Amp are designed to be plugged into the tv.

Can I use the amp to plug my turntable into it so I can play through the Sonos speaker , or do I I need a separate amp as well

Thank you for your question! Yes you can plug your turntable into Amp. Keep in mind you may need a phono pre amp to do this. You also may not, it just depends on your turntable. You can then group other Sonos speakers to play that record throughout your home. The nice thing about Amp is that you can plug speakers into it and play that record in that room as well. However, if you don't want to put speakers in that space, we would recommend Port. It would give you the same ability to plug in a turntable and play it through other Sonos speakers wirelessly and it's less expensive. However, you cannot plug other 3rd party speakers into it like you can with Amp.

Will it work with existing speakers that are not Sonos ?

Thank you for your question. No this product is designed to work only with other Sonos products.

Stream audio to a stereo system with this matte black Sonos Port. The audio line-in lets you connect CD players and record players, while the line-out supports RCA or digital connections for amplified audio equipment. This Sonos Port features easy-to-use controls so you can adjust volume, bass and treble, and the Ethernet port supports high-speed connections.

If streaming Apple Music from my phone (assuming via AirPlay2) to the Port, is the streaming done on the Port (like a Chromecast) or on my phone? Asking because of spotty wifi service on edges of my property.

The stream would be coming from your phone, and going to the Port. So a spotty wifi connection could cause issues.
