Can the Subwoofer 3 take outdoor heat in Arizona (no direct sunlight- on a fully covered patio) and temperatures down to zero?

Hi, and thank you for this question. It is not designed for outdoor usage, but would probably be okay out there as long as it isn't in direct sunlight. But note that it is not rated for outdoor use.

i have a sonos arc, a pair of sonos 1 gen 2 and the sonos sub woofer in a large room hooked to a big screen t.v and also to listen to music. can i add 1 sonos 5 and how would that help the sound or if i got a pair of ones would it just be a waste of mone

Thank you for your question. You can add a Five to your system in another space, but the Five cannot be added to a home theater set up unless you're adding two of them as rears.

What is the ideal position of the sub in the system with arc and pair of SLs? at front or back? Also, what's the ideal orientation of the sub, the hole facing the listener or away?

Hi, and thank you for your question! The great thing about Sonos is that you can place the Sub where you want to. Ideally in a place where the bass response is equally distributed throughout the space. You can Trueplay Tune your Sonos products with an IOS device which means in the matter of a minute or two the sound will be adjusted custom to your room.

As far as placement Sub is designed to stand upright or lay flat. Not kidding, try it out if you don't believe us! :)

I have the Sonos sound bar and the sub for my tv. I’m looking to add two rear wireless speakers. I don’t want to Mount them on the wall and have a power cord running up the wall but I want them at ear level. Is there a stand or tower available ?

Theoretically yes? If you have an apple tv you can airplay to the One SL's after you've set them up in a stereo pair. This may result in lag and delay from your tv. For the price though we would recommend just paying a little bit more and purchase a Beam. You'll get a dedicated cetner array for dialog so voices are easier to hear.

Absolutely! That's one of the best ways to listen to your entertainment in our opinion. You would need x2 Sonos Ones for surround sound though.
