I want to play my iTunes play lists from my iPhone and my Dell laptop running windows 10. I don’t have any music subscriptions and I don’t need smart speaker capability. Are these a good choice? I tried Echo 4th generation and couldn’t get them to work.
Hi, and thank you for asking this question. If you're able to put your music on a networked drive, or a service like Plex we can play your itunes library song. We no longer support the itunes library directly so if you're hoping to do that, we aren't the best option for you.

Does the Sonos One or Two allow one to install Alexa on it so I can use it in the kitchen to set Timers, ask questions, etc…?
Hi, and thank you for your question. We're not sure what you mean by "Sonos 2", but Sonos One has voice microphones built in, so you can sign into Alexa (or Google) to do the things you're asking about specifically and most of what Alexa can do in general.
If you purchase one of our product without mics built in (ie Sonos Five) you can tie in your Alexa device like an Echo Dot to it and use that to control your Five with your voice.

Is Alexa still available on Sonos speakers?
Yes, our products that have voice assistant mics built in support Alexa. We also have the ability to pair with Alexa devices so you can use them to control Sonos. Example: Using your Echo Dot to tell your Sonos 5 what music to play. *You cannot group Sonos and Alexa products to play the same sound at the same time.*
