Thinking of switching to new mesh Wi-Fi, but Sonos issues with just changing routers a while back (separating 2.4/5ghz bands), I’m hesitant. Does Boost make it easier connecting to a mesh Wi-Fi, without needing to play with router setting+separate bands?
Thanks for the question. Not to long ago we updated our app to make switching SSID's much easier. Please see this page from our support site. https://support.sonos.com/s/article/1061?language=en_US --- We would steer away from using Boost with a mesh system as it could be too much "mesh" and cause interference. If you're switching to a new mesh system try without Boost and only add it later if needed.

Hi, and thank you for your question. We would recommend keeping the rear surround speakers 30ft or less from the soundbar if they are bonded wirelessly.

Why is my Roam purchased in August not holding a charge? How long is the standard warranty?

What does hdmi pass through do? With this not having it, what would I lose? Currently all sources are connected to the tv without a sound bar. If I connect this to the tv and leave everything else the same will o get proper sounds!
Thank you for your question. The Beam does us HDMI to plug into the tv. It can plug into standard ARC or eARC. To get the most out of your home theater experience with Beam, you'll want to make sure to plug your Beam into ARC or eARC and switch the other components to other HDMI ports. You can plug into optical and still great great sound however, optical doesn't support Dolby Atmos.

Can I used these as standalone wireless speakers for my TV? I want to put Sonos in my ceiling but don’t want to wire them
Unfortunately no. The only way to get tv audio is to have Beam, Arc, or Amp plugged into your tv. If you're using in ceilings you would need to wire the to Amp. Once you have one of our home theater products plugged into the tv, you can this group other Sonos speaker to play the tv audio through those speakers if you'd like.
