Can I add my Reference speakers to the ARC? What is required , an amplifier with optical or HDMI to the ARC?

If you would like to use them as rears, then yes. All you need is Amp. However, if you're looking to use them as extra "front channels" then no.

Can I use just one FIVE in the rear with the ARC and GEN 3 sub instead of two ONE SL's? Basically I only have one space in the rear that would look decent to have a speaker sitting there and its big enough to accommodate a FIVE. ARC, SUB, FIVE surround?

Hi, and thank you for your question. Unfortunately no. Possibly consider our mounting/stand options for the One SL. That way, you don't need table/desk space to put a speaker.

If you're streaming Tidal via the app, then yes, you can stream a different app over your phone at the same time.

Can I connect a turntable and CD player together to play on my Sonos I gen2 speakers from the amp

Hi, and thank you for this question. The Amp has a single analog input on it so one of those sources can be plugged in at a time. Then, you can group your other Sonos speakers at the same time to play your cd, turntable, or streaming service. If using the turntable, or cd payer, select "line in" under the browse menu first.

Can I control this through my Apple TV remote? I also run Siri and again it works through my Apple TV.

Hi, and thank you for your question. The answer to working with the Apple TV remote is "technically no, but yes"

If the Arc is plugged into your Tv via the ARC HDMI port on your tv that activates what's called CEC. Using your apple tv remote (or your phone's side volume buttons) will control Arc's volume because the Apple Tv is commanding the Arc through your Tv's ARC port via CEC.

We know... confusing. The simple answer is; Yes, as long as the Sonos Arc is plugged in via ARC. If you plug in into the tv using optical with the included adapter... no.

does the sonos subwoofer have a remote for controlling the bass?

Hi, and thank you for your question. I does not however, you can control the bass in our app as well as trueplay tune it with an IOS device so that it is tuned to the environment of your room.
