In pics with a TV I don't see a center channel speaker. How well does a setup of 2 In-Wall Speakers, 2 In-Ceiling Rear Speakers, a sub and amp work together for home theater / music streaming? If I need a center, what's a good in-wall option?

Hi, and thank you for your question. The Sonos Amp does not have a center channel however, we do mix the center channel into the left and the right speakers so that you still get really good dialog performance.

If we add this speaker to our home wifi along with our Google Nest hub and various Google speakers and ask Google to play music, will our system synchronize this Sonos speaker so that the music is simulcast to match the exact timing of the other speakers?

Hi, and thank you for your question. You can use voice assistants to control our products, however you can't use them to synchronize music between the two platforms.

I have an old cd changer and tuner/transmitter system and want to pickup the cd’s from the house to outdoors on a bluetooth/wireless speaker platform. Is this something I can do with the Sonos? and how?

Yes! Our first recommendation is to get a product that supports line in (Port, Amp, Five) and plug your CD changer into that. Then, group the rest of you Sonos speakers wirelessly to play the same thing through different speakers. Port, and Amp both have analog line in, however Five only has auxiliary. So keep that in mind.

How would this work with hooking up to a turntable? Would you just hook the turntable up to one Sonos Play 5, and then it would transfer to others? (I would want two Play 5's)... Would there be any "lag" doing this?

If you wanted to plug a turn table into it, it would have to be with a 3.5mm aux cable. You could then group your other Sonos speakers with the Sonos 5, and select "line in" in our app and they'll all play what's playing from your turn table. If this doesn't work for you, another product to consider would be Sonos Port. It doesn't have a speaker but it would allow you to take your turntable and integrate that into your Sonos system.

To set a 5.1 channel home theater, do I need 2 pairs of ceiling speakers (4 speakers), an arc bar, subwoofer, amp. or do I need an arc bar, subwoofer and 2 Sonos SL speakers?

Hi, and thank you for your question. It really depends on what you want to do.
You could do Arc + Sub + One SLs as rears or Arc + Sub + Amp + In ceilings (powered by the Amp) or x2 Amps + Sub + 2 Pairs of architectural speakers plus many more options. As long as you have Arc, Beam, or Amp plugged into the tv as the "front" channels, you can decide what you prefer to use as "rears"

Can I use this for my TV audio instead of buying a sound bar ?

The only products that we make that are designed to plug in directly to the Tv are Arc, Beam, and Amp. Any of our other products can play tv sound, but only if they are grouped with on of our speakers that are designed to work with your tv.
