Can the Arc be mounted 4 inches above the tv? Is that bad for the sound if you are sitting ten feet away or more?
Hi, and thank you for reaching out! We do not recommend mounting it above the Tv because of the nature of atmos and the angle of the speakers. However, if you have an IOS device, you can tune the Arc to the environment of the room for the best sound possible for you set up if you decide to do that.

how much wattage is this system
Hi, and thank you for your question! We do not publicly disclaim how much wattage our Sub supports as there are many factors to this. What we believe to be the most important feature is the efficiency of the amplifiers. We use Class D digital amps that deliver maximum efficiency to the speaker. The idea is that just because something says it has 1000 watts for example, that does't mean that 1000 watts is delivered to the speaker because most of it can be lost as heat dissipation.

Can you use a receiver and a wired subwoofer with the arc soundbar.? There is nothing wrong with our old sub woofer and it does such a great job...or do we have to buy a new sub woofer to be compatible with the Sonos arc soundbar?
Hi, and thank you for this question. You would have to use our Sub. The reason is that if there is another device (ie receiver) that is controlling the crossover we don't have a way for our soundbar to tell it what frequencies to send to the Subwoofer. Even if we did, we can't be sure that the receiver would be doing it at the right time or capable of even sending that frequency appropriately. We keep our ecosystem pretty tight to ensure the best experience possible!

I have a ASUS mesh router. ARC won’t connect to my 5g network, only my 2.4. It won’t even see my 5G network name. Is there a fix for this? Enjoy the sound but connectivity goes out between phone and ARC. Bose 700 had no issue w/ my router.
Hi, and thank you for reaching out with this question. Arc will only use 5ghz for a home theater set up with bonded surrounds/Sub. The reason for this is that 5ghz is great for interference, however the range is only about 20-30ft. Because of this we cannot guarantee a great wifi connection experience as our products are intended to go to multiple places inside of the home, which 5ghz may not reach.

How does this speaker connect (and inter-connect) and function if you do not wish to use the voice assistant? What functionality does it lose?
Hi, and than you for your question. The only thing you loose by not setting up voice assistant is the ability to control your music, smart home, and other general features voice offers. You can still use it like any other Sonos speaker. So group and ungroup it with other on your system. Use our app to control all the music you love, ext.

I noticed that Costco sells Sonos speakers. Their speak is advertised as Sonos One SL -Wi Fi speaker Shadow Edition Model B20SLUS1DHB are these different than the Sonos One Sl-Wireless Smart Speaker Model oneSLUS1BLK
Hi, and thank you for your question. The difference is the Shadow Black color. It's slightly different than our standard black color. The Shadow black has a very subtle grey hough to it.

Can these speakers be synced with a Sonos Playbase?

Hi, and thank you for your question. One SL will not plug in. However, if the receiver has 3.5mm (headphone port) it can plug into the Sonos Five. Also worth noting, if you pay for the service with internet streaming we have that service available in our app. So you can purchase any of our products (including One SL) and play or Sirius XM wirelessly in you home.

Will it connect to the Alexa app or only play through the Sonos app. Mine only will only play through the Sonos app but Alexa will answer questions
Hi, and thank you for your question. You can access Alexa voice assistant via Sonos and control music with your voice. However, our products do not have full integration in the Alexa app.
