We have a Samsung CD player/receiver with speakers and now have LED Samsung TV. Can they all be controlled through the Sonos Beam soundbar?

Hi, and thank you for reaching out! Unfortunately you cannot control those Samsung products with the Sonos Beam. Beam is designed to replace the receiver, and the wires and deliver a soundbar experience that can digitally stream you music.

We are looking for a soundbar to improve the quality and clarity of TV sound in the bedroom. We do not plan to use the bar for music or add speakers. Do you recommend the new Bose TV speaker or this on sale Sonos? Thanks

Hello, and thank you very much for considering the Sonos Beam! The Beam is perfect for the bedroom. Beam offers a three channel experience. The third channel is the center channel which is where all of the dialog comes from. Another great feature our customers love is our speech enhance mode. When turned on in the Sonos app (very easy to turn on, it looks like a speech box) it turns up just the center channel. So if you'd like to hear what is being said better, but don't want to turn up the volume and make everything else louder, you can turn this feature on. Which is great for the bedroom TV. I am very interested in purchasing the Sonos Beam sound bar. I have old style Sonos connect amp with 4 speakers wired to my patio. 4 speakers is max they tell me. I want put the sonos beam on my outside tv. Will this all sync and play together.

We should disclaim that the Beam although it will work outside, is not designed as an outdoor product. We would recommend if doing this, that it's covered from the elements.

In my living room I have a sound bar under wall mounted TV. I also have 2 speakers next to our viewing chairs. Do I need a sub woofer and where would it go? Thanks

Hi, and thank you for your question! The Sub is completely optional, but would take your listening to the next level. It would fill your home with deep, undistorted bass as well as helping the overall acoustics of our Soundbars as the low frequencies are being sent to the Sub instead of being played through our Soundbars. As far as placements you can put it wherever you'd like as it's designed to fit your space. You can even lay it down flat if you'd like. The only thing we recommend is putting it somewhere it has some room for air to flow from it.

I have a sonos sound bar. I'm thinking of getting two sonos speakers for stereo sound. How far from the sound bar should the speakers be placed for optimum sound?

Hi, and thank you for you question! If you're using the speakers as stereo speakers then the recommendation is 6ft or so apart. If you're using them as rear speakers with one of our soundbars then there are many factors that could determine where you put them.

Is it also compatible with AIRPLAY - the older version of AIRPLAY 2

Can I have two Beam Soundbars hooked to 2 TV’s with multiple speakers hooked to the same system? Will they still have flexible function between all music being played on all components and can then be toggled to strictly be used for there TV purposes?
