Sonos - Low-Profile Wall Mount for PLAYBAR Soundbars - Black

I have an articulating TV/ mount. Not sure if this is the right mount for my playbar. Don't really want to buy another mount and remove the TV from the wall. Will this mount be too far back from the edge of the TV for proper sound?

Thank you for your question. This mount is designed to work with Playbar, however many mounts can work with Playbar. If you're mounting this on the wall, and the TV is sticking out on a swivel, then you should be fine acoustically. It's not ideal, but it's doubtful you'll get a noticeable drop in experience. If you have and IOS device, you can trueplay tune it, for an even better sound experience tuned to the environment of you space.

I'm trying to get TV sound out on some porches through a wireless speaker that is smart is there no way to connect this to the TV

Thanks for your question. Not exactly. The move is designed to work wirelessly on your network, or via bluetooth. Tv's don't have wireless functionality built into them to send audio wirelessly to Move. Some Tv's have bluetooth so that might be a possibility. However, Move was not designed to do this. It could work though.

Is a remote needed?

Great question! Yes, but not a special remote. The Beam has built in IR, so you can use the remote your TV comes with. It also supports CEC control so many tv's will automatically teach the Beam the codes it needs. If you're not using HDMI for CEC control, it's very easy to teach the Beam any IR remote you'd like in our app under settings -> system -> room name of Beam -> Remote control set up. You can also use our app to change the volume as well.

What year was this model originally manufactured?

Can the Soundbar play audio wireless from the new Apple TV 4K (via WiFi)? The Apple TV is connected to a projector on the oposite side of the room, and don't want to run a wire for the audio.

Is a separate sub-woofer required?
