Set up this Sonos Five wireless speaker in your living room to get the party going. Three high-excursion woofers deliver deep bass you can dance to, while Trueplay technology maximizes sound to fit the acoustics of your space. Capacitive touch and Siri, Alexa and Google Assistant voice controls on this Sonos Five wireless speaker let you change tunes and adjust the volume with a tap or a word.

Can and how would I add this to an existing receiver to an audio out port? Cat 6 or RCA to blue tooth?

Hi, and thanks for your question. The only way to add this to your receiver would be 3.5mm cable out from your receiver to the 3.5mm input on the Sonos 5. If you're looking to get your receiver on your system, the Sonos Port may be the best option for you.

I want to connect my turntable and my Sony compact mini disc player to my existing Sonos network. So do I need to use the Sonos Amp or the Sonos Port. Also do either one of them allow me to use a USB flash drive and l have a wired subwoofer i want to use

Hi, and thanks for your question! Yes, You can use a Sonos Port to plug both of these devices and listen through your Sonos system. Note that for your turntable you may need a phono pre amp. Find more info on that here. https://support.sonos.com/s/article/3548?language=en_US

The back of the Port has 1 analog input.

As far as the USB flash drive our products do not have USB ports, however you can upload those songs to a Plex account or on a NAS drive and listen wirelessly that way.

If you'd like to use your wired Subwoofer, we would suggest the Sonos Amp for whatever speakers you want to use that with. Example, Have the turntable ran to the analog input on the back of Amp, that will power your passive speakers and your wired subwoofer. Amp will not allow you to use your wired subwoofer with one of our speakers or in another room. It will simply power the sub and speakers you'd like use together. Thanks a ton for the great questions and let us know you have more!

Bring all your entertainment to life with the extraordinarily realistic sound of this Sonos Arc - the premium smart soundbar for TV, movies, gaming, and more.

Will Dolby Atmos work in a room with ceiling height of 20 feet? I understand that it bounces of the sound from ceiling and low ceilings are most preferred to get that 3D sound. Will I actually get the benefit of Dolby Atmos or shall I buy regular 5.1

Hi, and thank you for your question. There are many factors to ensuring you get Atmos. If you have an IOS device, you can tune the Sonos Arc (or any speaker for that matter) to the specific environment of the room. So you can get the most out of the Sonos Arc. The Sonos Arc still supports 5.1 and in fact, gives you an even better experience than a typical 5.1 soundbar as our top firing speakers are still working to assist your 5.1 speakers for bass response. If you're looking for the best 5.1 or Dolby Atmos experience from a soundbar... look no further!

Check out this page on our support site for more info on Atmos. https://support.sonos.com/s/article/4844?language=en_US

I would like to get my Home Theater Receiver to Play through my SONOS 5 speakers without having to lose my surround sound. Can I connect this to the audio out on my Yamaha receiver and have it as a selectable source for my SONOS system in the APP?

Hi, and thank you for your question. Yes, you can! Once the receiver is plugged into the input on the Sonos Port, you would then group your Sonos Five with the Port and it will play the source. Just make sure to select "line in" in the browse menu for Sonos Port first.

how far can this operate from alexa?

Hi, and thank you for your question! This Sonos Move has Alexa built in. So, as long as it's on wifi, it can work with Alexa which means it will go as far as your network will go. However, voice assistance does not work on bluetooth.

Will this work with 65" UHD 4K Flat Smart TV MU7000 Series 7? It does not have Earc, but it does have an HDMI arc with dolby digital plus and DTS codec.

Hi, and thanks for your question! It will work through an ARC port. It will support DD+ as well as 5.1 when plugged into ARC. However, there is no support for DTS through the Sonos Arc.

Sonos - Beam Soundbar with Voice Control built-in - Black
Sonos - Beam Soundbar with Voice Control built-in - Black
Get more out of your home theater setup with this Sonos Beam compact smart soundbar. A 5-speaker with five amplifier setup delivers rich, big sound to your room, while the single-cable connection allows for fast, easy setup. Compatible with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant voice control, this Sonos Beam compact smart soundbar lets you control the volume and power with the just sound of your voice.

We already have plenty of volume through surround speakers but voices on movies, etc are extremely fuzzy. Will the Sonos Beam improve this?

Hi, and thank you for your question. The Sonos Beam will give you clear, detailed dialog. It has a dedicated center channel for dialog, and in our app there is a speech enhance mode that turns up just the center channel. So you can hear what is being said better, but you don't have to turn up the whole soundbar!

I imagine the sound gets to the speaker via wifi. This means, to me, that the speaker requires 120v power, yes? I am designing a new house and want to include appropriately place AC power for these lovely speakers.

Hi, and thank you for you question! Our products do plug into a standard 110V outlet. All you need is the speaker, your wifi, and a smart device to control it with! :)
