Yes, the Lenovo Legion Y540-17, model number 81Q4008EUS, ships with 16GB DDR4-2666MHz RAM and is user upgradable to 32GB. There are two RAM memory slots, so to up grade to 32GB the current 2 x *GB RAM will need to be replaced with 2 x 16GB RAM.

OK, I am comparing the S345 with the S345-AST. What the heck is the difference? What does the AST have that makes it cost more? Is it just the backlit keyboard? Is it the screen quality? Does the S345 have a touchscreen or doesn't it?

Model number 81WX0001US is the Lenovo Chromebook S345-14AST. This model does not have a touchscreen. There is no backlit keyboard on this model. This model ships with a LCD w/LED Backlight (Anti-glare) screen, with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 (FHD) and a brightness level of 250 nits.

The specs say the max system memory is 16g. But one of the answers implied the max was 8g. For a 16g configuration, is it correct to assume that you would have to replace the single 4g ram with 2 x 8g ram?

The maximum RAM this configuration can support is 8GB DDR4-2666MHz. There are two RAM memory slots within this configuration.

Hello, How do you open the CD/DVD port? I am trying to watch a movie, but I cannot get the port to open. I tried pushing the button and everything but to no avail. Please help.
