Would this laptop be appropriate for gaming? Like playing overwatch, minecraft, etc.?

That depends on the requirements of the specific games. We recommend you check with the game's software publishers' web site for their compatibility with Windows 10 Home 64-bit operating system and the minimum/recommended hardware requirements (Is a Graphics card required, the processor speed and the minimum required system RAM and the minimum available hard drive space) to run their program, then compare those requirements to this system's configuration.

Is it model T420s or T420 ? Can the internal memory expanded to 16 GB?

This refurbished model is the ThinkPad T420. The maximum RAM the system can support is 8GB.

Samsung note 8 compatible? The S8 is so I assume the note 8 is, the list might be old I'm hoping since the Note 8 just came out. Is it compatible? I really need to know since I already pre-ordered I need to know if I need to cancel my order.
