You will need PDF creating software like Adobe Acrobat or even Microsoft Word to create PDF files. You will need to purchase this software. There is a 30-day trial of Microsoft Office 365 included as part of the Windows 10 operating system. In order to keep the program active after the trial period, you will need to purchase a product key. You will not need to download any additional software.
You can get Adobe Acrobat Reader software for free to just open and read PDF files. Regarding printers, this computer is compatible with any printer that is compatible with Windows 10. We recommend you check with your printer manufacturer for compatibility with Windows 10 of your model printer and what the pairing instructions are for pairing your printer with a new Windows 10 computer.
