Can this be used with the 12.1 inches in a vertical position instead of horizontal? Can the App FourSquare be used on it? Can one use a wireless page turner with it?

You can use the Idea Tab Plus in portrait / vertical position. Also, based on Google Play Search results, the most comparable app in title to FourSquare that we could find is Foursquare Swarm: Check In. Also, you shouldn't have an issue using a page turner with the Idea Tab Plus.

With Minecraft Java, you'll see similar frames as Fortnite at 1080 with "Fancy" graphics on and around 70-100+ FPS at 2.5K with various high-end graphic features and mods / shaders enabled with ray tracing on.
