Best software to transfew to computer & TV

I am looking for a Hard Drive w/Flash card camcorder to record wrestling matches. I was looking at the Panasonic SDR-H60, but the reviews says that the software that comes with it is terrible to go to TV and computer, please advise other camcorder.
You may want to cut out the middle man (the computer) and edit directly to DvD inside the camcorder.
The Sony DCR-DVD810 allows you to record video footage and still photos directly the 8 GB internal memory, Memory Stick Duo or Memory Stick PRO Duo media or to 3" DVD-R, DVD-RW, DVD+RW or DVD+R DL discs. You can edit inside the camcorder and burn a DvD without having to transfer to a computer or you can record footage straight to DvD if you prefer.

NEED A GOOD CAMERA

OUR SON IS PREPARING TO DEPLOY OVERSEAS WITH HIS U.S.M.C. UNIT.
WE ARE LOOKING FOR A CAMERA THAT IS THIN, AS DURABLE AND TOUGH AS POSSIBLE. WE ARE NOT SURE OF HIS DESTINATION BUT WE WOULD LIKE HIM TO HAVE A GOOD CAMERA THAT HE USE "ON THE MOVE". AND THAT WILL HOLD AS MANY PHOTOS AS POSSIBLE. ANY HELP WOULD BE GREAT!!
When doing a search for weather resistant cameras, Olympus seems to rise to the top of the list. The Olympus – Stylus 7.1 Model: 790 SW is designed to be shock-, water-, freeze-, sand- and dust-resistant so you can take it with you to exotic locations for amazing shots.

A Camcorder for swim meets

My daughter is on a swim team and my old camcorder would shut down due to the high humidity when I was filming her. Which ones would be good for humid conditions?
Changing to a SD format would be one way of helping to keep the camcorder from shutting down. The reason that a “Tape” format camcorder stops working is what is called a “Dew” sensor. When condensation forms on the tape head bad things happen. So the camcorder is designed to shut down to prevent this. Regardless of the camcorder constant exposure to high humidity conditions is not good for any camcorder. There are water proof bags to put camcorders in that allow you to even submerge them under water a few feet. Search the net for Underwater Camcorder Housing to find several options.

Using a high def camera messes with pixels in DVD

I have a 12 MP High Def Kodak camera. I make DVD's from my pictures using Arcsoft software. When using pics from the Kodak, the lighter pixels blink when playing movie on the TV. It is like watching a light show. Any ideas
Most problems like this are because the camera can take more colors than many TVs can reproduce.
Certain colors are too intense for the TV and will almost strobe and flicker. I am not directly familiar with the program Arcsoft... but there should be a “NTSC Color Safe” setting somewhere. This will insure that the colors stay within the safe viewable range.

I am looking for a camera with a good zoom so I can take pictures at indoor concerts? What would you recommend?

A D-SLR camera will give you almost unlimited zoom with none of the artifacting that you would get from a digital zoom found on compact cameras. D-SLR cameras have interchangeable lenses. That way you stay with optical zoom all the time. The lenses are bigger and gather more light and the sensor is bigger on a D-SLR. All this adds up to a better, sharper brighter picture.

I am looking for an inexpensive digital camera that has a threaded lens - so I can attach a 52mm wide angle lense?

The size of the lens is what is going to determine the camera in this instance, not just finding a threaded mount on a camera. There are several entry D-SLR cameras around $499, however it is the lens size you need to look at. The stock lens for the Nikon D40 uses a 52mm filter thread.

Looking for a good camera for taking advertising photos

I'm looking for a good quality camera to take photos for print advertising. The pictures are generally taken indoors, with poor lighting. I usually have to squeeze into tight spaces and can have a lot of background clutter. I am currently using a Sony Cybershot 6.0mp at the highest resolution, but when the images are put into the print they become granular and dark. Taking pictures of items so that they are more accurate in size and color is important. I don't know very much about cameras, just point & shoot, but I do know we need to upgrade and I need someone to point me in a good direction.
When using a compact camera, noise in the picture is common place in dark situations. The sensor in these cameras are very small, about the size of an eraser on a pencil or just slightly bigger. They need a lot of light to get a decent image. Changing to an entry level D-SLR would resolve many of your issues. D-SLR cameras have a much larger sensor which will need less light and give you better, truer color. More color also will give you a sharper image. The ISO (Sensitivity of the sensor) can also be set higher on a D-SLR and most cameras come with built in noise reduction. If a flash is needed, the one on a D-SLR is stronger covering more area and farther distance. There are entry level D-SLR cameras that start around $499 just a little more than a higher end compact or advanced camera.

Which cameras are wifi

I am aware there are several nikon cameras that have wifi, but exactly which ones is still a question...
Wi-Fi Cameras are still not as popular as standard compact cameras yet. There are a few available such as the Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ50, Nikon COOLPIX S610c and S52c. You can make any SD Memory camera Wi-Fi by adding a Eye-Fi Memory card to it. This is a 2GB Secure Digital card that has 802.11a/b/g wireless connectivity and can automatically save pictures onto your computer.

What would be the best camera for taking pictures in a gym? My pics always turn out dark.

If you are using a compact camera there might be several issues going on at once. One might be the flash is going off and is not strong enough to reach your subjects. The Flash on a Compact camera only has an effective range of about 6-9 feet. Also Compact cameras have a small sensor, a little bigger than the size of the eraser head on a pencil. These sensors are not very light sensitive and cannot be set to a very high ISO...1600 if your lucky a little more if your really lucky. The higher the ISO the less light you need for a picture, but also the more Noise you get in the photo, especially on a Compact camera.
To get get more control over these settings and have faster shutter speeds to catch the action and have sharper images a D-SLR is the best choice. It has a MUCH bigger sensor, almost the size of a Quarter. The ISO can bet set on some cameras up to 3200 and even higher. Most models come with noise reduction built into the camera. The Flash is much stronger on a D-SLR and you can add an external Flash with a range of 35 feet or more. Plus there are interchangeable lenses for almost unlimited zoom options.
