how do I delete the pictures

Put you camera in “Play” mode, when you come to a photo you do not want push the button that looks like a “Trash Can”. The camera will ask you to “delete or cancel”..select “delete”. It may ask if you are sure ...select “yes”. If you want to remove ALL photos you can “Format” the memory. This should be found some where in the menu area, usually under an icon that looks like a wrench.

What is the difference btwn JVC camcorders and the JVC Everio camcorders?

JVC Everio were the first ever HDD (Hard Drive Disk) Camcorders made for consumers. Other JVC models are Tape, DvD or Flash based.

what is the best digital camcorder to purchase for my kids sports activities?

A D-SLR would be best. You need a good Optical...not Digital...Zoom (200mm or 300mm) so you can zoom in tight on the action. Also you will need to be able to set a high ISO (Film/Sensor Speed) to be able freeze the action. A D-SLR will give you control over all this and more whereas a Compact Camera will not.

What do you suggest I buy...

My son is graduating from Airborne School and I just found out the ceremony ends with the class jumping out of a plane. I want to get this shot - so I know I'll need a really good zoom - I would need something that would be good in overcast situations (since I won't know how the weather will be) and this is something I'm thinking I'll use maybe twice a year? I saw the Canon HF10 on sale for under $1000 but I really don't wanna spend that nor do I want something that's going to be grainy...don't want much do I-LOL. Thanks for your help
Hmmmm...Tricky. Regardless of the Camcorder you get you will need a tri-pod to stabilize the camera.
Look for the highest Optical zoom to avoid any pixelization and distortion of the video. It looks like the Canon HF10 has a decent zoom (12x) but a 16x-20x would be better. Good luck.

what is the best memory card for a casio camera?

Without knowing the exact model I could only assume it would be SD (Secure Disk). Depending on the age of the camera you may be limited as to what size (how many gigs) to only 1 or 2 gig in size. The brand will not matter as long as it does not exceed the amount of memory the camera can use.

Inter changeable lenses--old film SLR to Digital SLR

I have a Minolta film SLR with extra lenses and wonder if any of these lenses can be adapted to a digital SLR.
If your lenses are AF (Auto Focus) Lenses you are in luck. These lenses and the Maxxum series lenses are compatible with the new Sony Alpha cameras. The a100 all the way to the a700 D-SLR cameras from Sony use the same mounting hardware. If the lens is a D series then it will give Distance information to the Speed/Zoom Flash when connected to get proper exposure then zooming.

digital Norcent

Have a Norcent x125 looking for the battery Part number is MH29637
The part number MH29637 comes up as a battery for a Jenoptik 10MP Digital Camera sold mostly in Europe, UK and Canada. There may be some batteries for Olympus that might be compatible with your battery, they are LI-40B / LI-42B / EN-EL10 / D-LI63. You might be able to find these on line.

I have a fugifilm finepix z and i lost the wall charger for the battery. I need a replacement, do you guys sell those?
The OEM Charger may not be available at the stores. You may want to check into a compatible Universal Charger.

Do camcorders transfer all of your video photage to your computer or you can select what video photage you want to transfer?

In most cases you decide what footage you want transfered. There may be instances where the Camcorder may do a complete backup copy, but this usually applies to Flash based camcorders and the DvD Burner that comes with it. Each manufacturer and model may vary. MiniDV is the easiest to transfer if you computer has a Firewire(IEEE 1394) port and so does the camcorder.

Is a $100 digital camcorder any better than a $100 digital camera that takes video for making videos? Why?

A camcorder that is designed to take video will always take better video than a still camera that has a video function. Each was designed for a specific job and to do it to the best of its ability. Video taken on a Still Camera will be of a High compression and usually less than video screen resolution. Mostly intended for sending as e-mails. I have a saying: Video Camcorder = BIG Video, little pictures. Digital Camera = BIG Pictures, little video
