Can the screen to a Kodak easyshare V1003 be fixed?

Someone dropped my camera and evrything is alright except for the screen. So I was wondering if the screen could be repaired or would I hav to purchase a new camera?
It would be best to let the Geek Squad look at it to advise you. Take it to your nearest BestBuy. If you have the extended warranty you may be covered. Take your receipt with you when you take the camera.

Flash Camcorder Picture Quality?

How does the picture quality of a flash camcorder compare to mini DV?
I have a mini DV camcorder, but I'm thinking about purchasing a flash because of the size and ease of putting the videos online and no tapes to hassle with. However, I still want quality videos.
The quality of any Camcorder will depend on the video chip. If it is a 1 or 3 chip and the type and size of chip. The next factor is Lens. Then comes recording format. Mini DV is a great, reliable medium. The new Flash based Camcorders, especially the HD models, are very light, small and shoot great quality video. Most of the HD models are recording in the AVCHD format, the same format used on the Hard Drive models. The benefits of the Flash medium are: Lighter, smaller, high storage capacity, you do not have to “re-capture” to the computer for edit, almost unlimited reuse (tapes wear out) and no video heads to get dirty.

How do I copy onto DVD's from my Hitachi DVD CAM

I have a Hitachi DVD CAM that is about 4 years old. I have never been able to copy footage onto my computer and burn it onto regular DVD's. The camera requires me to record on DVD RAM discs. I have gone into several stores and everyone tells me that no one uses DVD RAM technology anymore. Any suggestions for copying to another disc?
The simplest way is to connect your Camcorder directly to a Stand Alone DvD Recorder. Your Camcorder should have came with A/V (audio video) cables to connect to a TV. Use these cables to connect to a Stand Alone DvD deck and record to a standard DvD disk.

return with a warranty

does a warranty on a digital camera extend your return time
When at the BestBuy site near the bottom of the screen is a link to the “Warranties and Performance Plan” page, click there. Off to the right is the “Top 5 FAQs”. Here you will find a link for “What is BestBuy.com Return Policy”. You can find more information there.
The extended warranty only covers repair issues. The warranty itself is offered by the manufacturer relating to the performance of the product.

What is the best current camera out there to buy for a Macintosh Computer? Nothing expensive, as in over $600.

Any of the Digital-SLR cameras should work well for you. Canon, Nikon, Olympus and Sony all have models under $600. As for software, many Image Editing programs have Mac versions. The image from the Camera is generally in the JPEG format and is directly transferable to both PC and MAC by a compatible Card Reader.

what digital cameras software work usuing windows vista?

my old cannon s100 is not supported with its 32bit format in windows vista.
There are a lot of cameras that are Vista Compatible, however there still are a few that are not. To see if a Model you are interested in is Vista Compatible at the BestBuy site look under “Specifications”. There is usually a “Vista Compatible" category. It will either say NO or the version of Vista it works with. As for software it self, check the “System Requirements” on the box or online, also look for the “Vista Certified” logo on the packaging.

what digital camera's best

i want a cam that fits in my pocket, turns on and off quickly, great colors, shake reduction, and under $200
There are a lot of cameras that will fit this description. FujiFilm and Casio both have some slim, colorful models. The Casio – EXILIM has a .6” depth. The speed of compact cameras has steadily been improving. The quality of the image should be very good with both manufacturers having cameras in th 10 megapixel range. For shake reduction, Panasonic and Sony have excellent image stabilization features.

What is the best camera that I can buy to be able to set a size of the photo I take?

I need to buy 7 camera's for my company to take photos and I would like to set up the size of the photos and mega pixles. I just want to know what is the best camera for the price to get these features!
Most cameras allow you to set the image size in the menu area. Many also allow the setting of the amount of pixels. A Digital-SLR will give you the most control over these settings and the best quality image. Take a look at Canon, Nikon, Sony and Olympus to mention just a few.
