how can i buy the dc adaptor for kyocera finecam sl300r?

The Kyocera Finecam SL300R uses 3.7v 780mAh lithium ion battery, or dedicated AC adapter. At BestBuy.com there is a Universal Adapter from Jensen that supplies up to 1,700mAh. You can find it by searching for Universal Power Adapter at BestBuy.com.

PLEASE LOOK. Camcorder for recording concerts or music video?

I'm looking for a camcorder with a good mic that can handle anything from high gain to soft mellow live concerts without distorting the audio.
Does anyone know of a camcorder with good sound quality to record concerts?
Thank YOU
Go to Bestbuybusiness.com and look at the Canon, Panasonic and Sony line of Pro Camcorders. The Canon GL2 and the XL2 have High Quality mics and they also give you the control over mic levels. Sony also has the DCR-VX2100 & HDR-FX1 (High Definition). Panasonic has the AG-DVC20. All of these Camcorders should give you the control you need. By adding an XLR connector to these Camcorders you'll be able to patch into the mixing boards and use direct line audio for the best quality.

Is the Sony DCR-DCD 108 a good buy? And will it also take decent photos?

Sony DCR-DVD108 DVD Handycam Camcorder - DCRDVD108
I can get this for under $300, but am concerned about the quality of the pictures, as I want to use it for both.
Sony makes good, tough, reliable equipment. I own several Sony Camcorders and one Sony DSLR my self and have always been happy with my Sony equipment. However....a Camcorder is designed to take Video. That is it's primary function. The quality of photo you get will be good but not on the level of a compact camera and neither will be in the photo quality of a Digital – SLR. They all have their jobs they were designed to do. My Rule of thumb is: Camcorder = BIG Video..little picture. Digital Camera = BIG Picture...little video.

how many hours record 30 gb

Camcorders have different quality modes. On a 30-gigabyte camcorder you should get approximately:
7 hours of HQ (High Quality) footage
15 hours at SD (Standard Quality)
37 hours at EQ (Economy Quality).
If your Camcorder shots in High Definition as well, it probably uses the AVCHD format. These files take up more space than the HQ setting being as they are High Definition files.

what kind of charger would i need for a canon camcorder?

i have a canon camcorder and im looking for a charger. my model is ZR45 MC.what kind of charger would i need??
The Camcorder should charge the battery while the power adapter is plugged in. If you do not have the original power adapter you can get a Universal Camcorder AC adapter at your nearest BestBuy.

Which would be the best camera to record sleeping patterns?

I have nocturnal epilepsy. I started recording October 29. Luckily, I captured five seizures while asleep. Of course the recording is in the dark and using only the camera light to the jvc. I started lowering my lights so the recording is better. How can I capture both sides of my body with the camera? What web site gives good advice on cameras and how to use them?
First I would recommend a Sony Camcorder with Night Shot. This will allow you to shoot in complete darkness because the Camcorder has an Infrared light that only it can see to shoot by. Lights have been known to affect epileptic seizures, the Infrared light should not have any affect. Next I would recommend that you get a Stand Alone DvD Recorder. One that has an extended record time of 6 to 8 hrs. Camcorders only record up to 2 hrs at best, some higher that have a built in Hard Drive or Flash Memory. By plugging the Camcorder in to the DvD recorder with the A/V (Audio Video Cables) you can record to the disk for the whole sleep period. As for shooting both sides at once. Try putting a Full Length Mirror horizontally on the opposite side of the Camcorder. Position the Camcorder so that it sees you on one side and your reflection in the mirror of your other side. Hope this helps.

Can the screen to a Kodak easyshare V1003 be fixed?

Someone dropped my camera and evrything is alright except for the screen. So I was wondering if the screen could be repaired or would I hav to purchase a new camera?
It would be best to let the Geek Squad look at it to advise you. Take it to your nearest BestBuy. If you have the extended warranty you may be covered. Take your receipt with you when you take the camera.

Flash Camcorder Picture Quality?

How does the picture quality of a flash camcorder compare to mini DV?
I have a mini DV camcorder, but I'm thinking about purchasing a flash because of the size and ease of putting the videos online and no tapes to hassle with. However, I still want quality videos.
The quality of any Camcorder will depend on the video chip. If it is a 1 or 3 chip and the type and size of chip. The next factor is Lens. Then comes recording format. Mini DV is a great, reliable medium. The new Flash based Camcorders, especially the HD models, are very light, small and shoot great quality video. Most of the HD models are recording in the AVCHD format, the same format used on the Hard Drive models. The benefits of the Flash medium are: Lighter, smaller, high storage capacity, you do not have to “re-capture” to the computer for edit, almost unlimited reuse (tapes wear out) and no video heads to get dirty.

How do I copy onto DVD's from my Hitachi DVD CAM

I have a Hitachi DVD CAM that is about 4 years old. I have never been able to copy footage onto my computer and burn it onto regular DVD's. The camera requires me to record on DVD RAM discs. I have gone into several stores and everyone tells me that no one uses DVD RAM technology anymore. Any suggestions for copying to another disc?
The simplest way is to connect your Camcorder directly to a Stand Alone DvD Recorder. Your Camcorder should have came with A/V (audio video) cables to connect to a TV. Use these cables to connect to a Stand Alone DvD deck and record to a standard DvD disk.
