What is the best camera that I can buy to be able to set a size of the photo I take?

I need to buy 7 camera's for my company to take photos and I would like to set up the size of the photos and mega pixles. I just want to know what is the best camera for the price to get these features!
Most cameras allow you to set the image size in the menu area. Many also allow the setting of the amount of pixels. A Digital-SLR will give you the most control over these settings and the best quality image. Take a look at Canon, Nikon, Sony and Olympus to mention just a few.

Can I get my LCD Fixed?

I dropped my camera and the LCD is cracked --is that covered under warranty?
That would depend on any additional warranty you added at the time of purchase. Take the camera to your nearest BestBuy and have the Geek Squad talk over options with you.

Do you have a waterproof digital camera?

Olympus has several models that are weather resistant and shock (impact) resistant. Some models are submersible up to a few feet.

Digital camera's and memory???

I am looking into purchasing my first digital camera today, so my question is, when a digital camera already has internal memory, does it still have a place that I can add a memory card or chip on my own (whatever it is called) so I can have more memory than what the camera originally came with? Please Help!
Almost all models, except low entry level or cameras under 1 megapixel, have a slot for memory expansion. However, not all cameras come with built in memory. Internal memory is helpful when you forget your memory card or the card is full. Internal memory photos can usually be transferred to the memory card.

Sliding door won't stay shut on camera - Olympus C-60Z

I have an Olympus C-60Z and the door slides open/shut over the lens. All of a sudden it wont stay open all the time so if you turn the camera on its side to take a vertical pict and your finger barely touches the door it will start to close and in turn make the lens shut! Can this be fixed? If so, any idea on approx $$ amount? Thanks!
It could be that the door may have worn out. It could also be a design flaw. You could contact Olympus to see if this is a defect that they cover. If not...I would suggest you take it to your nearest BestBuy and let the Geek Squad looks at it. They will advise you what would be best to do.

I have a Kodak easyshare and would like to upgrade but I love the easyshare functionality within my pc???

I have had this camera for 4 years, do all cameras now have these features for organizing and viewing on a pc? Are some companies more user friendly than others? I am leaning toward Canon or Sony??
The functionality you like may be the software that came with your camera and not necessarily the camera itself. Most cameras organize the files on the memory card pretty much the same way. If the NEW camera that you get does not have software you like there is several programs available that are just for organizing photos on your computer. As for Canon or Sony...you can't go wrong with either.

I was told that the DVD format for some camcorders only records/holds 30 minutes.... Is that true? What if I'm recording a 60 minute event? Do I need

I was told that the DVD format for some camcorders only records/holds 30 minutes.... Is that true? What if I'm recording a 60 minute event? Do I need to record it on 2 disc's?
Some DvD Camcorders record in LP mode and in some cases can give you up to 60 mins of record time. However you do take a reduction in video quality by doing this. It would be best to take several disks with you when recording a long event. I usually take twice the length of the event I’m going to record. Find a moment during the recording to change disks. I personally would wait until all recording is done for the event before I would finalize the disks. This way you can change disks quicker.

Are there camcorders which will record audio without recording video at the same time?

I am not aware of any camcorders that record audio without video. Video and Audio are combined into one file. If you are needing to capture just audio to your computer, most capture/editing programs have an Capture Audio Only setting. This usually creates a .WAV or .MP3 file.

Canon DC320 Question

Can the "Canon DC320" - 1.07MP DVD Camcorder transfer video via usb 2.0 to an computer?
Because it says nothing about usb 2.0 connectivity and i viewed a 360 degree image of it and saw no usb port
The Canon site makes no mention of the Canon DC320 having USB connectivity. The Canon DC330 is the next model in the series that has USB 2.0 connection. Some sites show the DC330 as an example since the body styles are simular. The images at the BestBuy site are of the DC320.

The lense of my camera won't go back!?

My camera lense partially shuts and I don't know what's wrong w/ it, I can' take pics, and to shut it off I have to take out the batteries, the screen shows "Lense Error"
This is an issue that seldom corrects itself. It would be best to take it to your nearest Best Buy and have the Geek Squad look at it. They will advise you what would be best to do.
