Almost all Digital Cameras have Red Eye Reduction built into them today. Red eye is caused by the flash of the camera illuminating the inside of the eye and reflecting back into the camera. Some cameras will do what is called a curtain flash to cause the iris of the eye to close down just before the full flash fires for the actual photo. Some cameras also include a red eye reduction correction in the menu to fix red eye after the photo has been taken. They all seem to work basically well. Look for the one with the curtain system, that way if there is just a little red eye still, it is easier to remove with software.
