Best camcorder for moving horses for clients?

I am looking for a recorder for my horse training/sales business. The horses will be moving most of the tme...which should I buy?
Look for one with the biggest LCD screen, this will make it easier to see your subjects and keep the in frame while you are recording. Also a HD (High Definition) camcorder would show the detail much better than a SD (Standard Definition) camcorder. Muscle definition and tone of the horses is important to come out good on the video and the HD camcorder will bring that out. When shooting your video shoot with a High Shutter Speed. This will “Strobe” the motion keeping the image sharp and give you less motion blur. Blur will make it harder to see details.

Would i be better off buying a camcorder or digtal camera for direct image transfers to my pc?

can i transfer photos dircetly to my pc from a digtal camera or will i need some adaptor for this or can you only do this with a camcorder?
Most Camcorders will take photos. Digital Cameras will take BETTER Photos. They both do the job they were designed for better than the other. So if your needing photos more than video it is best to get a DIGITAL Camera. Almost ALL digital cameras will connect directly to PC or MAC computers. Some come with a docking station to do this. Generally they come with the cable to connect directly to the computer. If you are running Vista on your computer, make sure the camera is Vista Certified for best results.

pc compatableaty

what digtal camers have direct USB ports for photo transfers?
To list which cameras have USB interface would be a very long list. USB has become a standard connection for almost ALL digital cameras. You should be pretty safe no matter what camera you choose. Just look for the features you like. If you are using Vista Operating system on your computer make sure it is Vista Certified.

How to change single shoot mode to continues mode for Canon rebel XTi?

i tried to capture the phots in full auto mode. If i press continuesly its showing bysi
As has been mentioned, the Continuous Shot mode does not work in Full Auto. To engage this mode you need to be in any shooting mode other than Auto. Press the Timer/Continuous Shot button (Located next to the LCD Screen, looks like pages stacked on top of each other), when the Continuous Shot mode is active you'll see that "Stacked Page" icon on the LCD Screen and on the indicator on top of the Camera. Then press and hold the shutter button down, the camera takes care of the rest. Having the Flash engaged will also cancel the Continuous Shot Mode. Remember to turn OFF this mode when not needed.

how do i transfer videos from a mini dv video cazmera to the comp

i have a mini dv camcorder(sony dcr-hc 28) and i dont have a ilink cable port on my comp and i would like to know how to transfer videos on to my computer without the i link input on my comp
If you do not have a iLink (Firewire or IEEE1394 port) on your computer then you'll have to either add a Firewire card or get a USB capture device like the Pinnacle Dazzle. The Sony DCR-HC28 does not have a USB connection on the camera so using the A/V (Audio Video) cables and connecting to a capture device would be next option without a Firewire. There is also an options of Firewire to USB HUB and there is a Sima Multi Cable, but these two options are trickier to set up.

Best camera for trip to Europe

I will be traveling to Europe in about 5 months. I have a Sony Cybershot, but have been disappointed by the blurry photos it has taken sofar. I am interested in purchasing a new camera for my trip - I want to make sure I get some awesome pictures while I am in Europe.
Any recommendations for the best digital camera to capture both landscape and close-up photos?
You’ll want a little more control over your camera and a better quality picture than a compact camera will give you . A Digital-SLR will give all that to you and more. There are several cameras that would work for this once in a lifetime trip. Since you probably already have an assortment of memory for your Cyber-Shot you may want to consider the soon to be released (in time for your trip) Sony a200. It has a slot for CompactFlash™ Type I/II media cards. An adaptor for Memory Stick Duo™ media cards is sold separately as an accessory. Other benefits to this camera are:
10.2-megapixel. Interchangeable lenses. Comes with a 18-70mm (This will get you both landscape and close-up photos, NOTE: also compatible with Minolta A-type bayonet mount lenses), Built in Super SteadyShot (Helps if you don’t want to carry a tri-pod around with you), Built-in pop-up flash ( plus area to connect an optional External flash), Three frames per second continuous shooting….the list just goes on and on. Sony’s are rugged and give you GREAT results. The A200 is set to ship in February so stop in your nearest BestBuy and give it a look.

How do I transfer and edit my mini DV tapes to regular DVDs (not on my computer)?

Probably the best and easiest way without using your computer is with a stand alone DvD recorder. You can connect your miniDv to the recorder with A/V Cables (Audio Video) and pausing the recorder to omit sections you don’t want on the final copy. Tedious ..yes, but still will get the job done.

Help! Which camcorder should I buy?

I am looking at buying a camcorder to film things in my classroom --projects, movies, etc. I don't know which kind to get. I need to be able to edit with Windows Movie Maker, as that is the editing program on the school computers. I'm not looking to spend a lot, but I want to get something of quality.
Check into the MiniDV camcorders. You can reuse the tapes once a class is done with them. They are easier to connect to the computer and edit with. The tape format is less likely to be damaged by multiple handling and more cost effective. There are several models available at your local BestBuy. Don’t forget extra batteries. Classes EAT batteries.

What camera is better for night shots?

How can I know which cameras are better for night shots or in reduce light areas, I have notice that when I take a pic at night they usually come dark and do not capture the scene.
When it comes to compact cameras your at the mercy of what is built into the camera. Some Compacts have a night shooting feature built in. These photo usually turn out noisy(grainy) due to the small diameter of the lens and the size of the camera sensor being small also. If you want control of how the photo turns out then check out a Digital – SLR. They have bigger sensors and interchangeable lenses. Shooting in LOW LIGHT is always tricky. You need a camera that goes up to a hight ISO (Light sensitivity..like a film speed) 1600 is good 3200 is better, and a Fast Lens. Like a f/1.8 or better. The lower the number the bigger the opening (Aperture) and the more light that is let in. High ISO + Big Opening + Bigger Sensor = More Light Sensitive. Shooting in a really high ISO's will still give you some noise(grain in the photo) but cameras are getting much better at noise reduction.
