Nikon 3000 or Nikon 5000?

I am going to an SLR camera, and here is what I want: clearer pictures, very detail, fast shutter so if the thing moves it won't get missed.. is the 5000 a whole lot better? The movie thing is nice, but I just really want clear, fast pictures. If I'm getting the same camera quality with just a few more perks, then there's no point in getting the 5000. On the other hand, if the quality is that much better, it it would probably be worth it. I just won't be happy if they are blurry or not "real" looking. Are those features pretty much the same? I am not happy with the quality of the point and shoot at all! I'm ready to move on. Please advise!
If movie mode and a little faster Frames Per Second shooting are not features that interest you at this time the D3000 would probably be the better choice. The D5000 has the higher megapixel but for smaller prints compared side by side there might barely be any visible difference.

Can a quantaray 50mm lens purchased in 1993 be used in the Nikon digital SLR cameras?

Quantaray is a general lens manufacturer and they make lenses for many brands of cameras.
If the lens is a Auto Focus lens it might work on a Digital-SLR body if it is a lens made for Nikon.
Also there is a conversion fact when putting a SLR film camera lens on a Digital-SLR body.
A 1.5 multiplier changes the focal length of the lens. The 50mm lens will be more like a 75mm.
There may be other issues with a lens that old. Research the specific model number for more compatibility information.

would the nikon d5000 12.3 mp with the 55-200 vr lens be appropriate for taking professional wedding photographs?

The quality of the camera's images will definitely be professional range photos. Some features that come in handy for wedding photos is a faster Frames Per Second (fps) rate. The D5000 is decent at 4fps but faster would be better.
This helps capture rapid secession images in a sequence.
Also a wireless control for remote speed flash adds more shadowing in the pictures.
The VR (Vibration Reduction) Lens will come in very handy, also add a 18-55mm or preferably a 10-20mm lens for when your are in tight areas and to give you more of a wide angle look to the shots.

I dropped my camera with the lens open and it says lens error...how do i fix that??

It should be taken in for servicing. It isn't a at home repairable issue.
You can take it to your nearest BestBuy and have the Geek Squad take a look or contact the manufacture and send it to them.

A camera that allows ou to change some detail

after taking the picture, you can change some details .like make an arm looks more slim.
Some compact cameras might have some features like that. It would be best to do that kind of work in a photo editing program such as Photoshop from Adobe.
The Liquify tool is made to do just that sort of thing.
There are two versions of Photoshop: CS and Elements.

DSLR camera for concerts?

I would really love to buy a good DSLR camera that will take nice photos in a concert setting. Can you recommend on that isn't too expensive? I'm not a professional photographer so I don't know too much about it, but I'd like something I can take good quality photos for myself, especially in a dark concert setting since my normal digital camera is horrible for that!
For basic concert shooting any of the entry level Digital-SLR cameras will work OK. You would be better off getting a faster lens. A f/1.2 would let in a lot of light in low light environments. On up to a f/1.8 will still work.
Canon, Nikon and Sony all have great entry level cameras and the Sony has Super Steady Shot built into the body to help reduce camera shake that might blur the pictures.

will a makinon lens fit a canon body

Makinon lenses were made by Makina Optical Co. Ltd. in Japan and are not known to be of a upper quality lens. Mostly manual lenses and probably would not work on the newer Digital-SLR bodies.

are there any wifi enabled Digital SLR cameras?

Not that I am aware of. You could get an Eye-Fi and use it to make a Digital-SLR wireless.

Video from camcorder to PC when all you have are USB ports

How do you send video of golf swing to PC if your camcorder and PC do not have Firewire ports. They only have USB ports?
If your camcorder only has USB connection it should be a drag and drop. When the camcorder is connected your computer should see it as a external removable drive. Your editing software can access the footage directly from the camcorder or you can transfer it to the computer hard drive. If the camcorder is a memory based system, such as a SDHC memory card, you can get a card reader and read the memory through it.
