Do you sell Minolta cameras?
I have an old slr non digital x-7000 that leaks light and so I would like to buy a digital slr that can use my minolta lens. It the such an animal?
Sony has incorporated Minolta SLR technology into their Alpha series Digital-SLR cameras. I shoot with Sony Cameras and have many Minolta lenses.
From the entry level Sony a200 all the way up to the Sony a900 and a850 most Minolta lenses can be used on these Digital-SLR cameras.
There is a conversion factor for 35mm lenses used on none full frame sensor Digital-SLR cameras. The focal length of the lens is multiplied by 1.6. For example... a 70mm lens would act like a 112mm lens on a digital body.
The a900 and a850 are full size sensor cameras so there is no conversion factor.

is there a camera with a feature to reduce glare from pet eyes?
The Red Eye setting on cameras should help with pet eyes. In theory it tricks the iris of eyes to close down just before the full strength flash fires to take the photo. However this also causes some pets to close there eyes or look away.

Portrait shots can be accomplished with almost any lens. The best lens is generally between a 70mm and 135mm. Some photographers like a fast lens to get a soft DOF (Depth of Field). A f/1.7 to f/2.8 will do this.

In general YES. Most 35mm Auto Focus Canon lenses should work with the newer Digital -SLR cameras. Research the model number of the lenses for specifics.
There is also a conversion factor to keep in mind. None full size sensor Canon digital cameras have a 1.6 conversion. What that means is that a 18-55mm lens from a 35mm camera will work like a 29-88mm lens on a Digital-SLR. Lens focal length multiplied by 1.6.

Which one is better that you can recommend: Nikon D90, Nikon D5000 or Canon Rebel XSi?
Before, I used point-and-shoot cameras. I'm done with it and want to step to the next level. I'm choosing between Nikon D90 (1st choice), Nikon D5000 (2nd) and Canon Rebel XSi (3rd). As an amatuer, I want to grow together with my first DSLR. Which one is better that you can recommend: Nikon D90, Nikon D5000 or Canon Rebel XSi?
Looks like you already have the better sounding order. All of these cameras will give you what you need. The D90 is more in the prosumer arena than the D5000 or Canon XSi. You will find that you will not out grow the D90 as quickly as the other two.

What memory card do I need for my Nikon D80?
Most any Sd and SDHC memory cards should work with the Nikon D80. Is does not have to be a specific brand or size.

It does not look like Eye-Fi is making a microSD card yet. There is a Japan phone company called KDDI that is releasing a microSD version.
This might prompt Eye-Fi to make one.

Both cameras have great features.
The D90, among other things shoots in full HD at cinema 24fps where as the D5000 shots at 720p.
Both have Live View but only the D5000 has a tilt/swivel screen.
Both cameras have a metal chassis but the D5000 is physically smaller than the D90.
If you can, try both cameras at a demo area and see which one feels better in YOUR hands. You cant go wrong with either one.
