Got this to use with the Hoover Smartwash Pet+ and it works great for getting out stains. I've used it on both food and pet stains. Pre-treat the stain with the wand using this and let it sit for about 10min. Then run the cleaner over it. That's all. It just works!

Absolutely Amazing!

I've been using Snow for 6 full days and I am completely blown away by the results! I'm always skeptical of this stuff as just a gimmick, but it's legit. I attached a picture of the color guidelines that they give you in the box. I started at an 8 when the box came. 6 days later I'm a 3, possibly a 2! I have very sensitive teeth and this has caused me no problems. No sensitivity, no jaw or tooth pain afterwards. It's comfortable, easy to use and convenient.
Through the first week I have exclusively used the Gold stick, which is extra strength, and the results have been fantastic as I noted above. I highly recommend getting the Gold stick if you're trying to get faster results and your teeth aren't already decently white. The regular sticks are probably better suited for people with nice white teeth that are just looking to maintain that without having to go to the dentist or do expensive strips.
The sticks have a small brush in them with the whitening gel inside the stick. At the bottom of each stick is a section that twists. You give it a few turns and you'll see the gel come up into the brush. Then just apply it to your teeth like painting a finger nail. After you apply the whitening gel, put the mouth guard in and plug it in to activate the light. That's it! I've been doing 25-30 min each day for the first week with the Gold stick to get fast results. I'll probably back down to 20 min, then 10 min for maintenance.
The LED mouth guard comes with an adapter to plug into either a USB / USB-C / Micro USB / or Apple connector. I've just been plugging it into my phone's USB-C port so I can walk around the house while my teeth are whitening.
Overall, I couldn't be happier to have been proven wrong as a skeptic of things like this that promise results without the side effects of sensitivity or pain. Snow really works! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a solution to whiter teeth.

Great for pet owners

I used this with my Hoover Smartwash Pet Complete carpet cleaner and it did a fantastic job deodorizing the carpet and leaving a pleasant smell. It says that it also helps prevent stains in the future with Stainguard technology. It's nice to know that if an accident did occur this would help prevent the stain from setting in, but I'm hoping I never have to test that feature! Recommend for anyone using a Hoover cleaner that wants the best results.

Amazing cleaner

This has to be one of the easiest carpet cleaners that I've ever used! It's easy to put together and really is as simple as pushing forward to clean, pulling backwards to dry. Yes, there is some setup required, but it's relatively painless. You put water in the water tank, solution in the solution tank, and the cleaner mixes them for you as you go. No need to measure or guess at how much you need. I also recommend putting some wax paper or foil under the legs of wooden furniture nearby. Even if you aren't cleaning right up to the furniture, some water could get near them and cause damage.
I recommend a three step process. Clean the carpet with the solution included. If you need to pre-treat any spots, the handle detaches to become a pre-treating wand. Once you've cleaned the carpets, empty the dirty water tank, re-fill the clean water tank, and remove the solution tank. Then go back over the area you cleaned with just water to flush any remaining residue from the cleaning solution. After doing that, push the button on top that says DRY ONLY and go over the area until you're not seeing any water coming up through the nozzle. This will greatly reduce the drying time needed because it sucks the majority of water and moisture out of the carpet. This is one of the best features of this machine!
I didn't realize how much dirt was in our carpet. It's a relatively new carpet, only 2 years old, and it's only upstairs. We don't have kids and don't wear shoes or bring food upstairs. We do have a golden retriever who is only upstairs if we are, but overall we vacuum multiple times a week and take great care of the carpet. Still, there was a lot that came out in that dirty water tank! Truly amazed at how well this worked for a non-professional, home use machine.
I would highly recommend this to anyone, whether you have kids/pets/both/neither. As I said, we take great care of our carpets and there was still a lot of dirt in there that the vacuum just can't get. This machine is a great addition to our home cleaning routine and I'm glad we have it on hand now when there is an accident from the dog or something gets spilled. Regardless of spot cleaning, we'll be using it a couple of times a year just to maintain the carpet, which looks brand new again! Great work Hoover!

Nice trimmer for nose/ear hair and trimming up eyebrows . Has several attachments for different jobs and is easy to use and clean. Not as small as some competitors but I have larger hands so I appreciate having something to grip. Could be an issue if you're looking for something ultra compact for traveling. Overall, it does the job well and I would recommend it.

Good Earbuds, almost great
on December 12, 2019

These are a good pair of bluetooth, no wire earbuds. They fit comfortably in the ear with no movement. The charging case that comes with them is well designed and overall they feel like a premium product. There is a USB charging cable included along with 2 extra sets of silicone eartips in Large and Small. Medium is installed on the buds when they arrive.
Setup took me a while. I downloaded the app and after several attempts over 10 minutes, I finally got the app to connect to the earbuds. Success! At least I thought. It quickly told me there was an update needed. So I clicked Start, and it told me they weren't connected. I restarted everything, got them connected, and said Start Update. It got to 4%, "update failed". I tried again, got to 10% "update failed". I tried again, wouldn't connect, wouldn't connect, wouldn't connect. Restarted everything, connected, update made it to 19%.......and update failed. Finally I decided to try wearing the earbuds, while playing music from my phone, while running the update. It took about 15-20min for the update to run, but it finally completed when I did it this way.
So the app and setup being a bit wonky cost about a half a star because I shouldn't have to go through it again now that it's setup. The other half a star is for sound. The quality is good, decent bass considering the compact size, but the volume limit is pretty low. I was in a quiet room and had them at Max volume and it was fine. I was hoping these would replace my Bose Soundsport's for lawn-mowing but based on what I've found, I doubt they will be loud enough for anything like that. I'm sure they were designed to not blow out your eardrums and for max battery life considering their tiny size, but I wish they could go a couple notches louder or have noise cancelling to compensate for the lower volume.
With all that being said, these are all around a good set of earbuds for most activities. I walked and ran with them on, shook my head all over the place trying to get them to fall out and they stayed put. The controls and tapping are intuitive and I like the feature where music will pause if you pull one of them out of your ear. I can't count the number of times I've been out walking and a neighbor wants to chat for a minute and I have to get my phone, pause it, take out the earbuds. This is a great solution to that.
The USB charging cable could be a little longer but that's a minor issue. Setup and volume were the reasons I took off a star. I would recommend them, as long as you're not getting them to wear when doing something loud, like mowing the lawn. They're also rated to withstand sweat and rain, but these are not for swimming. Overall, they're comfortable with quality sound and intuitive features.

Exactly what I needed
on December 12, 2019

I have been using a different mesh system for the past couple of years and from day 1, I never felt like it worked correctly. I tried tech support multiple times but it constantly crashed and never had great connectivity. I kept thinking about switching to Google WiFi but it was a few years old so I knew an update had to be just around the corner. Then Nest Wifi was announced and I knew it would be my next router.
I had read articles reviewing the Nest WiFi and noticed there was a lot of extra steps if you had a Fios connection for internet. I can tell you from my experience that it is not true. I have an older Coax connection for my Fios TV/Internet bundle and all I did was unplug the old mesh system router and plug in the Nest WiFi router in it's place. No additional steps required.
Setup was pretty easy. Just download the Google WiFi app before you start. You'll also need the Google Home app to actually setup the device. Once the router is plugged in and you're in setup on Google Home, just scan the QR code on the bottom of the router and let Google do the work. There was a quick update to download and install but overall installation of the router took me about 5-10min including unplugging the old one, plugging in the new one, letting it start up, installing updates, and programming the SSID and password that I wanted to use. Once the router was set in the basement, I took the Point to the opposite corner of the house, two floors up. Plugged it in to the wall, ran setup on Google Home, and it connected to the router quickly with connection strength of "Great!". It did it's short update, then done. It was really that simple to get this up and running. It's worth noting that the room where I placed the Point, I could barely get a signal in with the old router from the prior mesh system. That's how much stronger the Nest WiFi's signal is.
I went through the Google WiFi app to see which devices were connected and noticed any Nest products I had were all labeled with just Nest Labs. You can toggle on the MAC ID's and using the Nest app you can pretty quickly identify which is what and then just edit the label in Google WiFi. Took me probably 10min to correct anything that was mis-labeled or registering as "Unnamed Device".
Through the app, you can also setup Family WiFi and Guest WiFi networks to separate traffic and do things like Pause WiFi to certain devices during dinnertime, for example. If you have any Google speakers in your house, you can do this as easily as saying "Hey Google, pause WiFi to (insert name of device) for 1 hour". Also, the router is just a router, but the point has a Google speaker built in. If you don't want it listening, just turn off the microphone via the switch on the back side of it. You can adjust volume by tapping the top of it, just like their other speakers, and it has a light ring along the bottom so you know when it's doing something.
We have 100/100 internet through Fios and the slowest I've logged in a speed test anywhere in the house, garage and the deck outside is 97Mbps, so this thing is working perfectly. I probably could've gotten away with just the router, but it is nice to have the extra point to take some of the traffic on the top floor of the house. It would be nice if the point had an Ethernet out port, but it seems like there are fewer and fewer devices that even have an Ethernet port anymore. There are 3 laptops in this house and not one of them has an Ethernet port. The Router itself has one Ethernet out port, but that's all. For me, it's not a huge issue but if it is for you, make sure the router is close to where you'll need Ethernet and you can find a pretty inexpensive hub to plug in to the Router's 1 out port and then you can plug in multiple Ethernet cables. Not ideal for some people but doesn't impact my setup. Still wanted people to be aware of it though.
The other thing I wish this system had was a dedicated backhaul channel for network traffic. My speed test isn't showing any slowdown, and it's interesting to look at the Google WiFi app and see how it manages traffic and which devices are idle vs running. That's something my old system didn't have. So while the dedicated backhaul would be ideal, so far this system is operating better than the last one that did have that dedicated channel. I'm assuming Google has some software wizardry at work in the background that manages the flow. Some people are also upset it doesn't have WiFi 6, but that's like saying you were angry if a TV didn't have 1080p capability in 2006 when everything was being broadcast in 480i or 720p. WiFi 6 is the future, but it's years away from being mainstream. Very few people have a house full of devices running WiFi 6, if they have any at all. Yes it would future proof this system a little better, but for most people, it won't be an issue for a long time.
This system so far has been everything my last system wasn't. It's fast, great coverage even through walls and floors, super easy setup, and if you're invested in the Google/Nest ecosystem, it's hands down the best system for you. if you absolutely have to have WiFi 6, this isn't for you. But for the everyday person who is just looking to get better coverage in their home in a simple system that looks good out in the open, I highly recommend the Nest WiFi.

Absolutely amazing!
on September 16, 2019
Posted by: cusedice
from Syracuse, NY
I've had lower back pain most of my adult life. Recently I had to do PT for a shoulder injury and knee injury. It seemed like no matter what type of massager I used, it only had a brief effect after leaving it on a particular spot for 30 minutes. I've used the electrodes (Tens?) and various percussion massagers with infared and all that. None of them really helped.
When I received the Theragun Pro, I was a little shocked at how large the box was. The carrying case is substantial, but it also holds the tool, all attachments, batteries and charger with lots of foam for protection. The tool itself is not heavy or unruly in size. It's actually very easy to grip and since the head rotates for different angles, you can grab it in multiple spots comfortably.
I have used the Theragun several times and it is amazing. I woke up with a sore neck a few days ago. With about 2 minutes of use, that was gone. I had done a full day of yard work that included a lot of bending, lifting and crawling. The next day my legs and lower back were screaming. About 10 minutes with the Theragun relieved about 75% of the pain. I used it for a few minutes later in the day again and woke up with no pain the next morning. I've also found that I sleep better when I use this before bedtime.
The biggest con with this device is the sticker shock. I have no doubt that people will look at this and say they can get the same thing for $20-40. I'm here to tell you that no, you can't. It is worth every penny and works like no other massage tool you've ever tried. If you have chronic pain or workout a lot, I highly recommend this product.
The attachments are great for different uses and are easy to pull off but stay securely on when in use. The high setting can be rough, so start with low and work your way up. The high setting should probably be reserved for more of the back/glute areas that are thicker vs around the neck or shoulder blades.
Overall, the initial cost is high. There's no doubt. However, if you're spending money on massages every month, or going to PT, or have a bunch of massage tools laying around that never really worked so you bought another one.....this is the tool you've been looking for. If you can cut out massages and PT for the most part by getting this, it will pay for itself fairly quickly and then it will start paying you back.
It's not a cure-all and I'm not trying to suggest that it is. However, it is an absolutely amazing tool to relieve tension and stress, help muscles recover and warm them up for a workout. For people with chronic muscle pain, I strongly recommend. You won't regret it.

Extremely light, good little laptop
on July 17, 2019

First off, when taking it out of the box I couldn't believe how light it was. I thought that the battery wasn't installed. It's really amazing what LG has done here. Setup was easy with the usual Windows 10 setup and uninstalling some bloatware. Ran the Check for Updates and let it download and install all the updates needed.
Once it was done doing all the updates I was able to mess around with it and it is fast. Boot up and shut down only takes a few seconds each and any task I tried was quick. Granted, I haven't thrown anything heavy duty at it, so I can't comment on whether this is a good gaming laptop, but I don't believe it's designed for that.
As an everyday laptop, or something to supplement another home computer as the "on the go" machine, this is amazing. Videos are crisp, sound is average for a laptop, and everyday normal tasks run smoothly and quickly. The backlit keyboard is always welcome and I recommend making a quick tweak in the LG settings panel to lock the Fn button for the Fn keys at the top of the keyboard.
I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a light and portable laptop.

Great all around 2 in 1 laptop
on June 21, 2019
Posted by: cusedice
from Syracuse, NY
I've been using this laptop for just over a week now. My initial impression when taking it out of the box was very solid build quality and a sleek look. Although I have to admit that it took me several minutes to figure out where the power button was. I ended up having to read the quick start instructions to find out that it's the small, un-marked button at the top of the number pad. It looks like it's part of the keyboard, vs being off on it's own or on the side of the laptop. I like the location, but a little power button indicator would be nice. The reason it doesn't have a mark ON the button is because it's also the fingerprint reader, so I'm guessing it needs to be blank. I found the fingerprint reader to be accurate and easy to setup once I knew it was there.
The screen is beautiful with deep colors and high contrast. I tried several different types of movies to test the screen and saw no motion blur or other issues. I wish the bezels were a little thinner on the sides and top, but at this price point they are good. Also, when it's in tablet mode, I usually want some area to grab on to without contacting the touch screen, so not a deal-breaker for me.
Typing is smooth and responsive. My one complaint with this device, is that the upper middle portion of the keyboard seems a little flimsy. If I push down on the "T" key, I noticed every key from 4-8 and the F keys above those all moved. This isn't an issue on other parts of the keyboard, just the center top 3 rows. It's a very minor complaint and it doesn't affect the typing or cause it to think other buttons were pushed, it's more of a design issue. The keyboard is back-lit, which is always nice, and I appreciate having a full number pad for doing spreadsheets.
The included smart pen is a nice addition, especially for those who will use this to do graphic design or edit photos without marking up the screen with fingerprints. I like that it's stored on-board and that it's out of the way. Some people might want it to store inside the machine but given how thin the device is, I don't see them accomplishing that without sacrificing something else. In everyday use, I didn't use the pen much, but it's nice to have and I can see where others would use it a lot.
The laptop is very quiet and stays cool. It did heat up a little bit when I was pushing it as hard as possible for an hour or so, but it quickly cooled down when I went back to normal settings and normal work. I like that the vents are on the back instead of the sides or underneath. It's very fast and I have not noticed any lag, even after I loaded it up with all my photos, music, videos, etc.
Speakers aren't great, but they are on par with other laptops, and the keyboard issue I described above would be my only two knocks on this device. Neither is enough for my to take away a star because they are so minor.
The included ports are 1 USB-C; 1 HDMI; 1 Micro SD card reader; 2 USB ports; 1 headphone jack. It also has bluetooth built in for further connectivity. All ports are on the sides, include the power port. I would have preferred a power adapter with a 90 degree angle vs a straight plug, but it's small enough that it's not in the way.
Overall, this is a great 2 in 1 laptop in the price range for everyday use. It's fast & quiet with great graphics and a beautiful screen. It feels very sturdy overall and battery life is good, but that all depends on how hard you're pushing it. I would recommend this.

Improve your audio experience with this Samsung three-channel soundbar. This unit, which has a built-in subwoofer, channels high-resolution full-spectrum sound and eliminates the need for an extra bass speaker. Use 4K pass-through to connect your Blu-ray player or other UHD device to the Samsung three-channel soundbar for stunning multi-channel audio and a clear picture.

I own a Vizio 50" (Model #M50-C1) 4K Ultra HD LED TV. My question is will this soundbar work with my TV? Based on the reviews, this seems like an awesome sound bar.

I don't see why not. You TV has an HDMI (ARC) port and an optical audio output. Either method would work just fine. The HDMI (ARC) connection is preferred because it will have the soundbar turn on when the TV is turned on and off when you turn it off. It also allows the TV remote to control the soundbar level.
