Worth its weight

This little machine is an absolute dream and makes floor cleaning a much less onerous task.
First, the assembly is relatively easy and the directions are straightforward (a couple of the pics can be confusing until you really look at the machine then it all makes sense). Total unpacking and assembly time was less than 10 minutes, no tools required.
I was anxious to see whether the Crosswave would live up to my expectations, so I immediately filled the tank and took off cleaning. The cord is long enough that I did not have to change receptacles during the entire cleaning session, which is an added perk. Much to my delight, I was able to go from my tiled kitchen floor directly to my hardwood floors and right up onto three area rugs. What normally would take 45 minutes or more and would require the use of a broom, dust pan, vacuum cleaner, mop and bucket, and microfiber wet mop (for the hardwood), took less than 15 minutes and not even a full tank of cleaning solution. The floors were dry in no time and they looked fantastic.
Cleaning the machine took only a minute or two and I was shocked at the amount of dirt the machine picked up. I have repeated this process several times since that first day and have remained impressed with the capabilities of the Crosswave. No more mop buckets and no more wringing! My floors are squeaky clean, my rugs get lightly shampooed, and the cleaning solution leaves a fresh smell throughout the house.
My only concern is the length of time it takes for the rollers to dry after use as I can see mold or mildew becoming a potential issue. It is a bit premature for me to reach any realistic conclusion on that concern. and hopefully it won't become a problem.
I would suggest going ahead and picking up a bottle or two of cleaning solution ta have on hand as the sample bottles included won't last very long. And if you're as impressed with this machine as I am, you'll actually look for reasons to pull it out of the closet and put it to work!

Well made but needs improvement

I was really excited to get this combo iPhone and Apple Watch dock as it looked like an elegant solution to having to have power cords for both my devices and by freeing up an outlet from my crowded power strip. I received this dock and immediately noticed its heft compared to its relatively small footprint. It feels substantial and well made and definitely has enough weight that it will not tip over with your phone and watch attached. The minimalist design is nice and the dark gray/white color palate blends in fairly well. The magnetic charging arm on the base works very well for the Watch and keeps it at a good viewing angle when the dock is sitting on a desk. The Watch "clicks" right in place and charges as expected. That's about where the good ends for me. Although the description says the dock is "case-friendly" and adjustable to "fit most cases",unless your phone is "naked", attaching it to the Lightning connector takes some patience, neck-craning, and luck as it is quite flexible where it comes out of the base. With an OtterBox, Lifeproof, or any other case that has a flap or door covering the Lightning jack, you simply cannot get the phone onto the dock and have it rest in the appropriate position. Even with the Lightning connector raised to its highest point, the phone leans precariously forward and is only supported by the Lightning cable which doesn't feel secure at all. I did find that I could turn the phone the wrong way (with the back facing me and the screen facing the dock) I could get it to feel more secure, but of course then you are totally unable to see the screen. Unless you're willing to modify your phone's case--which I'm not--or are okay with not being able to see and interact with your phone--which I'm not--then I'd keep looking for a different option One other thing to note, the transformer block on the power cord for the dock is fairly large (in length, width and depth) so clearance there might be an issue for some. Unless plugged into the end outlet of my power strip, it would cover three slots which is unacceptable for me. I was really hoping this little dock would work for me but unfortunately its just so-so. It's a great idea, but the execution misses the mark.

Easy to use and solved an issue for me

I have this unit paired to a Linksys EA-9500 Max-Stream 5400 Tri-band router. The pairing was extremely simple and took only a matter of minutes. I needed a wired connection in an upstairs room far away from where my modem and router are located and wanted to extend my wifi coverage to what had previously been a mystery "dead zone" in that same room. This little unit fulfilled both of these needs with ease. Streaming video over the new wired connection goes off without a hitch, my dead zone is completely gone, and I got the added benefit of gaining wifi coverage in my garage! I have had no problems with my mobile devices handing off between the router and the extender as I've heard others have had with different brands. The transitions are completely seamless with no noticeable lag or reduction in data transfer speed.

Great router if you have the space

First things first. This thing looks like an alien ship and it is HUGE. With the eight adjustable antennae and oversized base, it is wide, deep and tall. I had to find a new location to set it up because the shelf where my previous router sat simply couldn't accommodate the size. Now, with that out of the way, I must say I love this router. The initial setup was a breeze and all of my (15+) devices connected with ease to both the 2.4 and 5 GHz bands. The coverage is great as well. It easily covers my 2500 sq. ft. home and even extends to reach the pool deck. My old Linksys would sometimes struggle to keep up with my family's streaming demands, but this router easily handles Netflix on 2 TV's, online gaming, and YouTube watching at the same time. I have had it for about 3 months and the up-time has been 100%. Overall, I'm very impressed and would definitely recommend.

What can I say? The Epson ink cartridges offer a lower price per page than other printers I have used over the years. The ink doesn't bleed and the quality is good even in draft printing mode. I'm not sure I've ever gotten the 740 pages per cartridge as advertised, but the yield is quite high.

Good case, bad screen protector

Overall this case Is typical of an Otter Box. Good quality and excellent fit. As with all cases of this type, edge scrolling and moving apps around from page to page are difficult because of the raised edges. Not a huge deal and its offset by the benefits of protecting the screen from face down drops. The back of the case is fairly slick which makes it easy to slip into a pocket but also allows the phone to slide on other surfaces easily as well. The included screen protector is ok at best. Doesn't stick that great and collects dust, etc around the edges. A minor irritation but something to keep in mind. At this price point getting any sort of screen protector is a plus but if you want real protection spend a few bucks and get an actual glass screen protector.

I bought this unit to replace an aging and hulking home theater system that had reached the end of its useful years (it was bought as a complement to my 57" rear projection TV!). I wanted something substantially smaller to fit in better with the sleek design of my flat screen but wasn't too worried about huge sound since the room is fairly small and is not my primary entertaining space. Unboxing and setup were a breeze. I was a bit concerned about the small size of the subwoofer compared to the one it was replacing (a 12" powered sub that was monstrous). I fired it up and was amazed by what I heard! This little powerhouse blew my old Onkyo setup out of the water. The sound was rich and full, plenty of low end, and sparkling highs. It's so easy to move, I disconnected it from the TV and took it outside for my daughters birthday party. Hooked up my phone via bluetooth (no issues) and streamed music all night. It was plenty of sound to cover my half-acre back yard without distortion. I am very pleased with this little unit!

Does this clean hard floor surfaces as well?
It will if you purchase the optional hard surface roller and nozzle. Using the carpet roller won't work as the brushes won't come into enough contact with hard surfaces to clean properly. The set comes with two bottles of multi-surface cleaner and is relatively inexpensive.

Only in the dark from my experience. Any ambient light overpowers the low light output of the projector unfortunately.

How does this system work without the monthly monitoring. Can I get alerts on my phone without the monitoring?
Essentially, without the monitoring you have little more than a noise-maker. You cannot get alerts on your phone or otherwise "self-monitor" the system. If no one is home when an alarm sounds, you will have no way of knowing it happened. If a bad guy comes in, your only hope is that the noise will scare him away.

I'm restating my former question in a more direct manner, concerning damage to BASEBOARDS and WOOD Furniture legs not wood floors, by the side bristles on the Roomba. Did the side bristles cause damage to these areas?
I've got the 690 and haven't noticed issues with the bristles harming my baseboards or furniture legs. I would assume the 877 has similar bristles. Damage is much more likely from direct strikes by the body of the machine.

Yes, you can stream from any Bluetooth device directly to the system. It also is Google Cast enabled if that fits your needs.
