the vacuum can be used on both carpet and hardwood, can't it and has a separate attachment for vacuuming hard to reach places and stairs?

We would like to inform you that the Shark Navigator® Lift-Away® Bagless Upright Vacuum works great on most flooring types. This vacuum allows you to turn the brushroll off if needed. With this being said, we recommend contacting the manufacturer of the flooring to verify compatibility.

We would also like you to know that this vacuum includes a 5.5" crevice tool, dusting brush, pet power brush, and under appliance wand.

We would like to inform you that the filter for Shark® Bagless Cordless Hand Vac is very easy to remove. Start by removing the dust cup from the vacuum. To do so, press the dust cup release button and pull out the dust cup. You will now have access to the filter located in the dust cup. Pull on it to remove.

Where is the base (stand) of the Shark Bagless Cordless Hand Vac connected to the cord charger. I can't figure it out...I know I should know this however I am embarrassed to say I can't figure it out.
