I am looking at purchasing a shark ion and am borrowing a friends to make sure I like. I have a thick rug in my living room that it gets stuck on and also keeps getting stuck under my couch. Is it possible to set boundaries so the vacuum doesn’t even go

I was considering buying this for my elderly mother. She doesn't have a smart phone and is not savvy with any technology. Would she be able to use without voice command?

I have 1200 square feet. Is it worth it to buy an extra dock and put them on opposite sides of the house? In hopes that it will make it to. Org sides between charges etc?

We would like you to know that you can certainly use 2 docks for the Shark - ION™ 750 App-Controlled Robot Vacuum. By having the 2 docks, it will definitely make it easier on the robot in a larger home. With this being said, you can also put the dock in a central location so the robot can get back to it easily.

How do you fully discharge the battery to condition it. The unit keeps going back to the dock when it is low but it is not fully discharged.

We would like you to know that you do not need to condition the ION battery in the Shark - ION™ 750 App-Controlled Robot Vacuum. We would like you to know that it is normal for the vacuum to return to the dock when the battery is low. This is usually around an hour of cleaning.

Do I have to have WiFi in my home to use this robot? I don’t have access to internet where I live and I’d hate to spend the money and it not work.

We would like you to know that you can still use the Shark - ION™ 750 App-Controlled Robot Vacuum without Wi-Fi. You can control this vacuum using the on-board buttons. To be able to set up a schedule, you will need a Wi-Fi connection.

My house has new wall to wall carpet except kit & bathrooms. If I don’t want my new Shark 750 to go under certain pieces of furniture am I to cut botboundary strips And put them down each time I run My Shark ? My carpet is beige -strips dark

How do you clear out the remote that has been programmed for the week? I would like to just clear it all out

We are happy to assist you with your inquiry about your Shark ION™ Robot Vacuum. If you have the Wi-Fi version, please go to the Schedule tab in the Shark® app to control the schedule. If you have the version that cam with an Easy Scheduling Remote, you can manually turn each scheduled day off by going into the Schedule section. To start from scratch, you would need to remove the batteries from the remote, and then re-insert them. Once this is done, you will need to set up the date and time again on the remote.
