My samsung S860 keeps taking pictures blury how do I fix it?

My samsung S860 keeps taking pictures blury how do I fix it?I can change the settings but the picture still shows up blurry.
There could be a few things causing this before it's labeled broken. First make sure there is no finger prints or smudges on the lens glass. Next check the owners manual about auto focus points. This camera uses Multi-points AF, Center and Face detect. Check to see that you are using the right one for what you are shooting. The camera could be in face detect mode and there is no face to detect or the Multi-point and Center may be slightly off so what YOU think you are focusing on may not be what the CAMERA is focusing on.
If none of these are amiss then I suggest taking it to your nearest BestBuy and have the Geek Squad take a look.

What Megapixel is best for close up pictures taken from a distance?

I am trying to find a camera that takes really good close up shots from far away. Most photos I take are of my children playing and at school events. I also love to do the black and white photos.........
Megepixels will only help you if the optical zoom of your camera does not get you very close to your subject. Higher megeapixels gives you more cropping leeway. Between 10-14 megapixel gives you quite a lot of room.
Keep in mind that the sensor on a compact camera is considerably smaller than the sensor on a D-SLR even though they may be the same megapixel.
Also you can get better optical zoom with different size lenses on a D-SLR.
When it comes to Black and White..it is best to do that conversion on a computer to the original color image. That way you can keep both the color and BW version. If you let the camera take the photo as BW you can't ever get a color version again.

I want to buy a SLR camera, what's the difference between a Canon Rebel xs and xsi?

The run down:
XSi has 12.2 megapixel (More data in image=more room to crop and bigger prints), 3.5 FPS (Frames Per Seconds of continuous shooting), 3” LCD Screen (Bigger and easier to see), 9 point auto focus (More points mean better coverage of viewing area for quicker focus) and Large internal memory buffer so photos are written quicker and camera is ready for next picture.
The XS has 10.1 megapixel (Less cropping area), 3 FPS, 2.5” Screen and 7 auto Focus Area.

The Xsi is much more camera for not very much more price.

Best for office use?

We are a small company that occasionally needs to put footage from a camcorder to a DVD disc. What would the best option for us that is also the most economical?
A stand alone DvD Recorder is the easiest to use and economical. The Toshiba D-R410 is a nice small unit that is easy to use. Just connect the camcorder to the Inputs and put a disk in, press play on the camcorder and press record on the DvD recorder. Using a stand alone also eliminates the need to turn on a computer and ...capture footage ..and run sometimes complicated software...and wait for the DvD to finish burning.

Need a video camera to attach to sewing machine

I need to find a camera that i can attach to my sewing machine, and project it on a big screen. so that i can show peopole what im doing.
Pretty much all of the camcorders have A/V (Audio Video) outputs that you can use to connect to a big screen monitor. You might want to look for a fairly small camcorder so as not to be in the way while you are working and with good zoom. Take a look at the Canon FS100 found here: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage...
Another helpful item would be the Gorillapod. It is designed to be small and wrap around anything to hold a camera or camcorder. For more info on the Joby Gorillapod look here:

only one

i a looking into buying a camcorder with a hard drive or dvd what is better
It may depend on if you want to edit the footage and burn the DvD on your computer or want to go straight from camcorder to player. There are a few hybrids (becoming very popular) that have built in memory (usually 8gb), and use Memory stick and DvD all in one camcorder.
The Sony DCR-DVD650 is one example found here : http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage...

Hooking up audio sources to a camcorder?

This may be a bit of a silly question but is it possible to record audio/songs over your video footage in real time by simply hooking up say an ipod or small stereo to one of the inputs of the camcorder itself? I basically am just searching for possible alternatives to getting songs/audio onto the video footage WITHOUT having to edit the music onto the footage after the fact. Thanks for the help...
If your camcorder has a mic input jack you could plug a iPod in and record music while shooting live foortage. It will turn off the on camera mic so you will loose the natural ambient sound. Watch your audio volume, it is very easy to distort the level. Some camcorders do allow you to add a audio track after recording footage in a Audio editing mode.

Another Olympus camera question

When will the new stylus 6000 and 8000 be availble at Best Buy?
While we don’t have a specific release date for these cameras, we expect them to be coming to our stores in early Spring.
