Need a video camera to attach to sewing machine

I need to find a camera that i can attach to my sewing machine, and project it on a big screen. so that i can show peopole what im doing.
Pretty much all of the camcorders have A/V (Audio Video) outputs that you can use to connect to a big screen monitor. You might want to look for a fairly small camcorder so as not to be in the way while you are working and with good zoom. Take a look at the Canon FS100 found here: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage...
Another helpful item would be the Gorillapod. It is designed to be small and wrap around anything to hold a camera or camcorder. For more info on the Joby Gorillapod look here:

only one

i a looking into buying a camcorder with a hard drive or dvd what is better
It may depend on if you want to edit the footage and burn the DvD on your computer or want to go straight from camcorder to player. There are a few hybrids (becoming very popular) that have built in memory (usually 8gb), and use Memory stick and DvD all in one camcorder.
The Sony DCR-DVD650 is one example found here : http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage...

Hooking up audio sources to a camcorder?

This may be a bit of a silly question but is it possible to record audio/songs over your video footage in real time by simply hooking up say an ipod or small stereo to one of the inputs of the camcorder itself? I basically am just searching for possible alternatives to getting songs/audio onto the video footage WITHOUT having to edit the music onto the footage after the fact. Thanks for the help...
If your camcorder has a mic input jack you could plug a iPod in and record music while shooting live foortage. It will turn off the on camera mic so you will loose the natural ambient sound. Watch your audio volume, it is very easy to distort the level. Some camcorders do allow you to add a audio track after recording footage in a Audio editing mode.

When will the new stylus 6000 and 8000 be availble at Best Buy?
While we don’t have a specific release date for these cameras, we expect them to be coming to our stores in early Spring.

I need a camera that takes pictures with a time stamp in the 640 x 480 size format

which is the cheapest with best quality?
Most cameras have a setting to shot photos in the 640 x 480 size format, a common image size for web and emails. Usually found in the menu under quality or image size. The time and date are stored on the photo along with information about shutter speed, aperture and ISO settings as EXIF info. This is done automatically and encoded into the image. The date and time usually do not print with the photo. There are programs available on line that can bring up the time/date info and add it to the output image. Some print houses may also be able to make prints with this added too.

I have a Gateway GM5664 what camera is good for it?

I have a gateway Gm5664. I am interested in doing some things professionally with videos for my computer but I am not sure what is good. I also have Pinnacle. But again I'm noit sure what I need to go further with the projects I want to do.
The Gateway GM5664 is a monster of a machine. Without knowing what type of video projects you are wanting to do I will try and focus on easy to use, professional quality formats and camcorders.
One of the most commonly used formats in the professional video production field is miniDV tape. There are both SD and HD camcorders that use this tape. To get footage into this computer you would need to add a FireWire (IEEE 1394) card to get the FireWire ports(also known as iLINK ports).
Flash Media and Hard Drive based camcorders are good, however the files that are recorded are a little tricky to work with in professional editing software. The AVCHD, although a great quality recording, is still considered a consumer grade format and not supported by higher end editing software.
If you want to experiment with FireWire editing first I would suggest the Sony DCR-HC52 found here:
http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage...
If your ready to jump in with both feet then look at the Canon XHA1HD:
http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage...
This camcorder will give you professional features such as XLR connectors for pro-audio gear, true white balance control, ND Filter and more.

what cameras are made in the usa

The majority of the components for cameras are made out of the country. If there are any USA made cameras it would mostly be just assembled in the USA. The 1930 Kodak "Brownie" and some Kodak 110 film cameras were a few of the last ALL USA made cameras.

my camera zoom lens doesn't come out when put on and the screen show nothing what could be the problem

on a canon powershot 520,the zoom lens cannot come out when put on and the screen doesn't show anything either what could be the problem
Could be something as simple as one of the batteries is in backwards to as bad as firmware failure. If it is not the batteries, it would be best to take it to your local BestBuy and have the Geek Squad take a look.
