What is the best way to hang and position a 3D TV?

Do i mount it or leave it on the stand and how for from the couch should it be? Its a samsung 46inch 7000 led 3d tv.
Mounting or Stand display really wont matter much.
As to distance from the screen for best viewing...that's a little trickier.
When it comes to 3D viewing there is what is called a 3D Comfort Zone. It is where the left and right eye are within an acceptable range to the screen to be able to fuse the left and right images into a 3d image. This can vary based upon several factors...of course screen size is one. The closer to the screen the more the feeling of submersion into the 3D effect. Too close and the 3D fusing is less apparent.
Once you have your TV set up it would be best to experiment with seating arrangement.
Everyone's eyes are just a little different...what works well for one might not work as well for another.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERANANCE IN A LED TV AND THE LCD TV WHICH IS THE BEST??

Indication is that LED TVs can have better contrast in dark areas in the picture. This can be a good thing.
As for power consumption, LED is considerably higher than LCD TVs ... LED can be almost as high as Plasma TVs. Not such a good thing.

what camcorder can i use with tapes that are Hi8 8mm

Many of the Digital 8 camcorders will also play back 8mm and Hi8 tapes. Unfortunately Digital 8 equipment is no longer being made.
You might still be able to find one used online. Make sure it has 8mm and Hi8 play back. Sony is usually the most compatible.

what is the optical zoom of canon rebel SXi?

The camera body itself has no zoom capability...it is the lens added to the body that does the zoom. For a SLR Lens to be a "ZOOM" lens it must be variable ..like ...70-200mm. Lenses with only one set of numbers are prime lenses and are of just one magnification.
These lenses can be as small as 10mm to as high as 1500mm and more, some variable.
The lens that most commonly ships with the Canon XSi is a EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS Lens.

what tripod can i purchase to used with panasonic digital camera/canon digital camcorder?

All cameras have the same size threaded area at the bottom of the camera (Camera or Camcorder) to accommodate a tripod.
The tripod comes with a plate that attaches to the bottom of the camera for quick release. Some tripods come with two plates so you can leave one on the camera and one on the camcorder. If the tripod does not come with two plates you can move the plate from camera to camera or order an additional plate from the tripod manufacture.

Do you carry cable to connect to tv?

do you sell the cord for a sony ccd-tr86 that connects the camcorder to the television?
The CCD-TR86 uses a RCA male to RCA male cord.
Your local BestBuy should have the cord at the store. This is a Mono camera therefor it only has one audio out and one video out (black, yellow).
You can still use a stereo A/V cord (red, white, yellow), just use the yellow for the video...and either the red or white end for the audio...just one...if you use the red on the camera make sure to use the red on the other end to connect to the TV.

computer to TV

what kind of cable do i need to connect my sony laptop to my hdtv? will the cable carry sound and video?
There might be a couple of options.
If your laptop has a HDMI port than you can use a HDMI cable and it should ...in most cases...carry an audio signal with it.
If there is no HDMI port you could use a VGA computer cable if the HD-TV has a VGA input (most all HD-TV do). The VGA does NOT carry an audio signal, just video.
There may be additional settings that will need to be done on the laptop to output to a HD-TV as a monitor in either instance.
