Full HD is at 1080p (progressive)..up conversion is generally at 1080i (interlaced). There is a slight difference in how the motion is perceived and this also affects the clarity of the image.
Do you have to buy a special DVD player if you have purchased a HD TV?
We recently bought a Samsung HD TV. We tried to watch a movie we just purchased and the clarity was not good at all. We would not even watch it. I do not think it is hooked up wrong. Our DVD player is also a Samsung conbination DVD/VHS with DVD-V1000 but it is older
It would be best to get at least an up conversion DvD player with HDMI out put. Although not near the level of Blu-Ray you will see a big difference. There are many up conversion DvD players at reasonable prices. To get the full potential of the TV a Blu-Ray would be best.
What is the model number of the wireless adapter for the Panasonic DMP-BD65 Blue Ray player?
Please don't tell me Best Buy doesn't sell them. I read somewhere on a forum(can't remember where) that there is a Linksys adapter for that. What do you know about a wireless adapter for this model Blue Ray player? By the way, it is a great BR disk player if you were wondering, I just wanna stream wirelessly.
I have an old Sony 32" TV with wireless headphones.. Work great ..but since lightning strike it has lines across screen, Want to replace it with good 40-42" HDTV. With wireless if possible..
Do any new TV's have this built in wireless feature?
Have not been able to find any Sony HDTV with built in wireless headphones. Another option is you can add wireless headphones to any TV. Do a search at BestBuy for them. There is a large selection to choose from.
I'm totaly new to this field, but feel that I would need an external microphone, have seen lots of ads for Flip but haven't spoted anything that says this feature exists. Perhaps an existing owner could assist.
External mic input has been phased out in all but the higher end camcorders. Hopefully it will make it's way back into the entry level again. I'm not aware of any Flip with external mic input.

Difference between SanDisk Ultra and Ultra II
Is it just a difference in packaging? What's the difference? The Best Buy wesbite and the SanDisk website seem to use them interchangeably? Even on the Best Buy site, it's labeled Ultra II but the actual picture shown says Ultra.
It appears to be a packaging thing. Adding the class identification is some what new and the packaging may look different. Searching at the Sandisk site for Ultra II SDHC still shows the ULTRA picture. http://www.sandisk.com/products/ima...
Having it professional mounted is advisable to make sure it is properly anchored to the wall bracing. Few things are worse than having a Large TV pull away from the wall and fall.
That will be a little hard to answer without knowing the model number...if it is a rear projection?..LCD back lit?...please repost with model number. Thanks :)
If the 19 inch HDTV was manufactured in the past year or so it should already have a digital tuner built in. There should be no need for a top box. a antenna would improve reception. If it is one of the older models made arround 2005 it will need a separate ATSC tuner to receive HD signals.
