External mike

I'm totaly new to this field, but feel that I would need an external microphone, have seen lots of ads for Flip but haven't spoted anything that says this feature exists. Perhaps an existing owner could assist.
External mic input has been phased out in all but the higher end camcorders. Hopefully it will make it's way back into the entry level again.
I'm not aware of any Flip with external mic input.

Difference between SanDisk Ultra and Ultra II

Is it just a difference in packaging? What's the difference? The Best Buy wesbite and the SanDisk website seem to use them interchangeably? Even on the Best Buy site, it's labeled Ultra II but the actual picture shown says Ultra.
It appears to be a packaging thing. Adding the class identification is some what new and the packaging may look different. Searching at the Sandisk site for Ultra II SDHC still shows the ULTRA picture.

Who Mounted your TV

Looking to by a 47in LCD. Is this something that I can easly mount myslef? Or should I go ahaed and pay to have someone Mount my Tv for me?
Having it professional mounted is advisable to make sure it is properly anchored to the wall bracing. Few things are worse than having a Large TV pull away from the wall and fall.

Antenna or Converter Box or Both?

I have a panasonic 19 inch HDTV that will not be hook to cable. To receive basic channels do I need the converter box and antenna or just the antenna?
If the 19 inch HDTV was manufactured in the past year or so it should already have a digital tuner built in. There should be no need for a top box.
a antenna would improve reception.
If it is one of the older models made arround 2005 it will need a separate ATSC tuner to receive HD signals.

do you clean camera lens?

i bought my digital camera @ your store. if i bring it in, will you clean the lens for me? or, can you reccomend how i can do it myself?
Cleaning the outside casing can be done with a lightly damp rag...DO NOT SUBMERGE A LENS...very bad.
A soft cloth or lens cloth and photographic lens cleaner can be used on both ends of the lens. Put cleaner on the cloth...not the glass of the lens...and lightly touch the glass areas with the cloth...never your fingers. Work side to side...not circles. Let air dry....then with a dry area of the cloth wipe light to remove any steaks.
There are many articles about lens cleaning on line.

will a recharable camera battery hold it's charge out of the camera?

i'm going on an outdoors trip, where no access to an electrical outlet will be available. i was wondering if it's possible to carry a spare rechargable battery to exchange for the one in my camera when it dies?
Actually a battery will discharge quicker in a camera quicker than one left out of a camera even if the camera is not in use. The cooler you keep the batteries the better...heat will discharge them quicker.

Wich of the models of digital frames can run on batteries, instead of being plugged in to a outlet?

Philips has had a few models that also worked off a rechargeable battery. There was a 10.2" and a 9.4" version.
