Sony W350 or Panasonic FP2??

I was told to check out the Sony W350 for easy to use, good quality, inexpensive camera...but as soon as i went into Best Buy i was immediatley told to spend the extra $ on the Panasonic FP2. Can anyone tell me anything to help me decide??
Need;
good quality pics (indoor, outdoor, low light)
quicker shutter speed
image stabilization
able to catch a 3 & 5 year old in action
price up to $180

The Carl Zeiss lens on the W350 is a step up from the standard Lumix lens of the FP2. The FP2 has a little more zoom than the W350. When it comes to low light the FP2 has the ability to go up to 6400 iso... that's pretty light sensitive, but might be a little noisy (grainy picture). The features are pretty much the same on everything else.
Either is a good choice.

Mounting Distance

I am in the process of installing our projector, the Epson WXGA on the ceiling for projecting onto a wall. Is there an optimum or "best" distance from the wall to use or keep in mind?

When it comes to projectors...the theory is a little different than used n LCD/Plasma TVs. It is not so much how far as in how close.
One thought is with 720p resolution projectors the viewing distance of less than 1.5 times the screen width can show more pixelation and artifacts. A higher resolution of 1080p would allow closer viewing with sharper imaging.
The farther away the sharper both would appear.

There are many Class 6 microSDHC cards available. Transcend, A-DATA and PQI are just a few.

I need to know more about projectors and projector screens for an in home system

I need to know if any projectors can be hooked up to cable to watch regular T.V. along with watching Blue Rays or regular dvd's Can you help me?

Most projectors come with different input options from just regular analog/composite(RCA Type) to HDMI. Projection output varies from SD (Standard Definition) up to HD at 720p or 1080i.
Projectors usually do not have built in tuners, mostly inputs.

The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-S85 is a older discontinued camera and uses a standard Sony Memory Stick. A 16mb stick should have been included with the camera.

It might have a small slider "Switch" along the edge. This is the lock for the memory media if it is a SD card.

what memory card should i buy for a polaroid m365

I found no listing of a Polaroid m365...I did find a m635. If that is the camera it uses a standard SD card up to 1gb. It will not use SDHC.

On a regular sd card it has a rating but how can i tell the rating on a micro sd

i dont C it any where, could it be that micro sd cards arnt rated??

The marking of the Class on SD media is relatively new. The microSD you have might not have the marking on it or it might have been on the packaging.

How do I get my Plasma out of standby mode on the Media receiver and Plasma display?

Television wont come on, it flashing in standby on both Plasma TV and Media receiver-is there an easy fix?

The control module that puts the TV into sleep mode may be malfunctioning.
One way of testing is to unplug the power to the TV and leave unplugged for at least an hour. To insure discharge press the power button before plugging the TV back into the power connector.
If the TV still stays in Standby it should to be taken in for servicing.

how can i tell if a micro sd is type 6 or not?

The SD association has a marking for certified SD sticks that meet the required speed tests. SD sticks are Class certified and CH cards are typically referred to as Types.
The Class symbol should look like a semi circle with a number 2, 4 or 6 in it.
