what is best sports camcorder

Filming football from the stands. Need good quality at max zoom and stabilazation as some movment is required to follow the plays.
Look for a camcorder with a high optical zoom to avoid as much visual distortion as possible.
Sony has one of the best image stabilization with its Super Steady Shot.
It also might be best to go with a hard drive based camcorder for record lengths. Although Flash based systems also record long times it is easier to misplace a small memory card than it is a hard drive built into the camcorder.

Products from my answer
Sony - Handycam Digital Camcorder - 2.7" - Touchscreen LCD - CCD - Silver

I am buying my first DSLR. Which would be a better choice the Nikon D90 or the newer Canon Rebel T2i?

First off...either camera is a good choice. As to which one is better???
It has been said the D90 is a little better constructed.
The T2i is at 18mp vs the D90 at 12.3mp. This is a considerable jump and should weigh in heavily.
Canon does have more lens options.
If movie mode interests you the D90 only shots at 720p whereas the T2i is at full 1080.
The D90 has been on the market a bit longer than the T2i..however the T2i is a continuation of the very popular and reliable Rebel line.
The final choice has to be your...hope these little insights help.

What is Bokeh?

I hear this term all the time, what is it?
Bokeh refers to the blur that is seen in an image. DOF (Depth of Field) is how much focal length there is. Deep meaning a lot of distance is in focus and shallow meaning things get very blurry the farther from the lens.
Bokeh is another term for this but more in the way the blur is seen. Different lenses/aperture types cause the blur to take on a different look...from just a soft focus or little circles and shapes.
Some lenses are highly prized for their Bokeh ability like the Minolta 70-200mm lens known as the Beer Can.
There is a very nice article on Wikipedia about Bokeh.

Lens compatability of AF NIKKOR to DSLR nikons

I was told that my AF NIKKOR lenses would only work on a D300, D700 or D3 and that they would not work on any of the less expensive DSLR Nikons like a D5000 or D3000 or D90. Is that true?
Nikon Lenses are little less compatible than some of the other manufactures.
You can try searching for the specific lens number on line for a updated list of cameras.
You could also try your nearest BestBuy and see if you can take the lens in and try it on the camera you want.

What digital cameras have the ability to take pictures very quick?

My son is constantly moving and sure enough by the time my current camera actual take the picture he's turned his head. I need a camera that takes quick pics. Any suggestions?
This is a common problem referred to as Shutter Lag Time.
Advanced Compact cameras do have a little faster time but Digital-SLR cameras are always the fastest.
You can get a Digital -SLR for same or slightly more than you would pay for a higher end Advanced Compact Camera.

Does best buy carry replacement USB cables for my Sony Cybershot DSC-H20

My son always put the cable in his mouth and now it won't work I guess its corroded now. I need to replace it so I can uplaod my pics and video. Does Best Buy carry them. I looked on the website and as far as cables they have 2!!!!!
There are Universal USB cables at the store with multiple tip options to connect to many different size mini ports. It would be best to take your camera with you to match up the correct one.

Any point and shoot cameras with good manual settings?

I want a point and shoot (going to a music fest. that doesn't allow SLR's) that has manual settings with the aperture and iso. no more than $300, what are the best cameras within that price range that come closest to an SLR?
The type of cameras that will get you similar features as a Digital -SLR are Advanced Compacts and they start a bit higher than that price range.

What is the best professional quality camera? And which is better for long term use, Nikon or Cannon?

The question of "which is better...Canon or Nikon?".. is almost as old as .."which came first, the chicken or the egg?".
If you are looking for more lens options..Canon has a lot of lenses.
If you are looking for a light weight camera...Nikon is fairly light weight.
Both are very durable camera ...maybe leaning toward Canon slightly.
Fact is you wont go wrong with either.
