If they are VHS-C (compact) tapes and you do not have a working camera to play back on, you will first need a converter cassette to be able to play them on a full size VHS player.

Next...if you have a stand alone DvD Recorder you can connect using the A/V (Audio Video) cables and connect the output of the VHS Player to the input of the DvD Recorder and copy the footage to a DvD.

A D-SLR with a Macro lens will give you the best results. The Macro lens would have to be purchased separately. Some cameras like Olympus will sometimes include a Macro as a 2 lens Kit option.
There are many compact cameras that have a Macro setting but to get close enough to your subject with a compact usually cast a shadow across it making the shot difficult.

There is a housing available for the DSC-W220 and many other models.

If you still have a functioning camcorder you have a couple of options.
You can connect directly to a standalone DvD Recorder with the A/V(Audio Video) Cables.
