Most MiniDV camcorders are compatible with Mac computers. Firewire connection is the most common and compatible. Camcorders that use Memory Media and Hard Drive might be less compatible through USB connection and the footage file might need conversion to work with which ever software you might be using on the Mac. These type of camcorders are easier to use by capturing the footage from the A/V (Audio Video) output.

imagaes are on the memory card but not on the camera display screen, the screen is blank on that #. yet i can print it. The image does show on the printer screen and can be printed.
Some cameras when a photo is copied to a computer will flag the image as transferred and the camera sees it as deleted. This commonly happens when the software provided with the camera is used to copy the images to a computer.
