Which camera Canon EOS Rebel XSi or EOS Rebel XS for beginner

which Canon SLR camera is better for a beginner to use? Using it for moving shots and close up.
If you can go for the XSi. You'll never regret having that extra 2 megapixels. ( 10.1 vs 12.2).
There is slightly more FPS (Frames per second) that will help in capturing in burst mode for action shots.

what is the best cheapest camera with zero lux night vision?

I need a camera that shoots in total darkness the sonys are great with "night shot plus" but budget dictates what i can purchase.
There are several Sony camcorders under $300 that have Night Shot that are at 1 to 0 lux. Check out the Sony section at BestBuy and BestBuyBusiness.com

Point and shoot with HD video

Im looking for a camera the has at least 5x zoom and HD video. It would be a plus to be able to zoom while shooting video. Also be a plus to shoot well in low light situations, and be able to record longer than short video clips. Any suggestions for under $300? Thanks

Is a canon dc 20 camcorder is good for making 5 minute video an uploading to utube

That might not be the best choice for Youtube videos. It shoots on a mini DvD and there might be some conversion issues.

I'm looking at a canon or sony camcorder with memory card.

What camcorder can be used with a mac computer?

Most MiniDV camcorders are compatible with Mac computers. Firewire connection is the most common and compatible. Camcorders that use Memory Media and Hard Drive might be less compatible through USB connection and the footage file might need conversion to work with which ever software you might be using on the Mac. These type of camcorders are easier to use by capturing the footage from the A/V (Audio Video) output.

camera screen blanks?

imagaes are on the memory card but not on the camera display screen, the screen is blank on that #. yet i can print it. The image does show on the printer screen and can be printed.
Some cameras when a photo is copied to a computer will flag the image as transferred and the camera sees it as deleted. This commonly happens when the software provided with the camera is used to copy the images to a computer.
