It should. While I haven't actually used it on my MacBook Pro, primarily using my PC desktop, Epson Support has drivers on their website for both PC and Mac. Personally, I never use the provided CD (and couldn't with my Mac as it lacks the drive) irrespective to what I am installing - from motherboards on up! . CD usually are not updated from the original fist unit manufactured date. You get the most recent if you go to the manufacturers site.6 years, 1 month ago

The scanner can also scan documents. Use the buttons on the front of the scanner itself. Read the instructions that come with the CD to get more details. Once you know what buttons to push, it is a easy task. You can also scan a document and have your printer print it out. In effect, the scanner can be used as a copy machine.7 years, 3 months ago

Scanner very capable of scanning documents and also negatives.Can connect to laptop since connection is a USB cable. Just need to load the software on the laptop and plug the scanner into the USB port. I have scanner software on 2 desktops and a laptop. Just plug and use.

The V550 is GREAT! It not very noisy and does a great job scanning all my negatives, slides and even my medium format slides and negatives. It is easy to use and does a great job much better that my old Canon that is not supported on Windows 10by

It does produce some noisy during a scan. The noisy is very low in intensity. The sound would not interrupt your TV viewing. Great machine at a great price!by

It has plastic holding templates that specifically hold three different film sizes (35 MM is one of them). I am not sure of what size the others are for, but likely medium format and 110. You should able to find the sizes in the manual. I would think you scan any negatives smaller than medium format.7 years, 3 months ago
