Any cable modem that supports the DOCSIS standard will work with Comcast - but keep in mind that DOCSIS 2.0 is limited to a single channel, so you will be stuck at <40mbps. If you're paying for speeds faster than that (or plan to at any point in the future) you'll want to get a DOCSIS 3.0 modem.
Also bear in mind that many Comcast customers have a modem that also includes a "router," meaning it has built-in wifi and connections for multiple wired devices. I prefer to keep my router and modem separate, but if you like the simplicity of a single unit (or aren't sure how to set up a dedicated router) you'll want to make sure you buy a modem with wifi/router built-in.
