A:
I bought the HK Aura while back. It’s a simple functional speaker for hearing music but hardly anything worth “listening” to music on.
You can’t adjust the eq and the bass while at least being present muddles the music with the mids to the point where it’s just a blob of sound.
I dug my stereo out of the closet with a pair of actual speakers and started playing music on that and found that I suddenly always have music playing in the house. My kids were amazed at how good music can actually sound when being played through a half way decent system.
That being said. If you want to listen to music and actually hear what was recorded than this is a waste of time. If you want to expose your kids to the same than again this is a waste of time.
Simply pull out the old stereo and get a wireless adapter so you can control it from your phone or computer and enjoy the beauty that music offers us .
